Absolutely brilliant! The hostess is super kind and responsive. Upon check-in she upgraded us to 180°-view room. The view from the balcony is amazing - the entire panorama just for us. Booking the room itself is worth it. The room and the bathroom are spacious and spotless. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The bamboo rice, the braised tofu and bamboo shoots were very tasty. We can share only our superlatives.

Almost missed this place because it was not in the ranking list. It is a hidden gem. To me what make this place stands out compared with the many highly rated lodging in the vicinity is its design (the unit I booked has a floor to ceiling window, raised platform w cushion seat and bean bag to chill and have tea, no silly bath tub at window). The view is to die for, exactly same as the photo displayed in trip.com (I thot the photo was enhanced but turned out it is exactly the same on site. Even the photo I took looks surreal. The rice terrace looks so near and the cascading stepped layers look so distinct) and the price is less and even half of the other listing. Definitely value for money. Only downside is the shower water pressure is a bit low and hot water needed a while and smart WC not calibrated well w zesty sensor at work. Additional plus point, sunrise scene from your room if the clouds is in your favour. Good local home cooked food and attentive service from owner and family. Very near and easy stroll to lookout 1 and but tough yet short trail to lookout 2.

The hotel is located in a stunningly scenic area, and the entrance to the scenic park costs 80 RMB. Unfortunately, the weather was very rainy during our stay, so we didn't get the chance to explore everything the area has to offer. Even so, what we did see was absolutely breathtaking. The property itself is cozy and beautifully designed in a traditional wooden style, blending perfectly with the surrounding landscape. The views are simply enchanting. In the evening, we had dinner at the hotel's café while listening to the sound of the rain. The softly lit lanterns scattered across the plantations created such a peaceful and magical atmosphere. It was a truly memorable experience.

Generally ok, but we were there just before the season and this could be seen. The rooms was nice and spacious with comfortable bed. The common areas could use some cleaning though. The pool was being prepared for the season during our stay. There are also building some parking space in front of the hotel, which interfers with the nice view. The location is perfect, a few minutes walking to the viewing platform one. The staf were helpful, booked a bus to Guilin for us and dropped us to the bus station.

The hotel's location is excellent, you can drive right to the entrance, and parking is super convenient (they even have charging stations!!). The service is fantastic, and the hotel restaurant serves delicious food. The rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, with balconies that offer breathtaking, unbeatable views right outside your window. A special mention goes to the hotel's kitchen, which is spotlessly clean and hygienic, giving you complete peace of mind. It's also just a 10-minute drive to the No. 1 observation deck, Xishan Shaole.

We just had one of the best stays we ever had. A few things that made up to that: The couple that manages the place is absolutely lovely. We were treated very nicely, we were cooked excellent food and they would make sure we were comfortable all the time. They helped us with some bookings, offered us some of their home made rice wine and cooked a variety of typical dishes. All delicious. Location-wise, we couldn’t have been hosted in a better place. Between View-spot 1 and 2, and with a very nice hike to spot 3. The village is super quiet and chill - there’s nothing to do there besides relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The Hotel has very nice views of the Rice Terraces too, so if it gets rainy or just want to be in the room, you still enjoy the setting. And of course, we have to mention the little hosts that moan around the place: Mi Huan, their cute poodle; and quite a few cats, 5 of them being born when we arrived :) Genuinely a very nice experience and definitely a place we would like to come back to in the future.

Had a wonderful stay here! The owner was incredibly sincere and even offered personal pick-up and drop-off services. They were also very enthusiastic in providing travel tips and helping us plan our itinerary. A pleasant surprise was the fantastic room location; we could see the breathtaking terraced fields right from our balcony, and we were even lucky enough to catch the sunrise there. I must also mention that the owner's cooking was absolutely delicious! This time, I got to see the 'mirror' terraced fields, and I'm already looking forward to seeing the golden rice paddies here in autumn.

What a find! This guesthouse is absolutely excellent. When staying at guesthouses, you always worry about things not living up to expectations, and while the online photos looked great, this place really nailed the details. From the bedsheets to the toiletries, from the tea to the food at their restaurant – I highly recommend their spicy chicken and rice paddy fish – everything shows the owner's dedication. It felt just like being at home, very reassuring. The staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly accommodating. I hope your business continues to thrive, and that you stay true to your original vision and maintain this level of service quality.

A hotel in Longsheng – an unforgettable view of the rice terraces. 🌾 Dates of stay: March 2026 Room type: Double with panoramic view We stayed in the village of Dazhai, in a hotel right next to the rice terraces. And it was the best decision of the entire trip. Out the window, you can see endless steps of terraces that descend into the mountains. In the morning, you wake up, open the curtains, and before you is mist creeping down the slopes, and somewhere below, the village is already waking up. This isn't just a room; it's a view you'll want to take pictures of every five minutes. It's not yet the high season (we were there in March), so there were almost no tourists. It was quiet, just the birds and the sound of the wind. Some of the terraces above were already flooded, and when the sun came out, the water sparkled so brightly it was breathtaking. The hosts were very hospitable. They picked us up from the bus stop and helped us with our luggage. The room was clean, with hot water—everything you need after a long day with varying weather. In the evening, we sat in the hotel restaurant, ordering local dishes. In the morning, we were served breakfast with local noodles. Main life hack: get a room with a view of the terraces. The price difference is small, but the experience is much more powerful. Even if it's raining (and we had a downpour with thunderstorms), sitting under a blanket and watching the fog cover the mountains is a special pleasure. The observation decks are easily accessible from here. We hiked up the ”Thousand Steps” (about 20 minutes) and took the lift to the ”Buddha Gate”—the views from there are incredible, especially when the water begins to shimmer in the sun. If you want to see the terraces in their true, living beauty, rather than in the crowds, come in March or April. And be sure to stay here. Here you feel not like a tourist, but a guest in the mountains.

This guesthouse is conveniently located near the No. 3 Jinfo Peak viewpoint in Jinkeng Terrace, about a 300-meter walk away. The host is really nice and offers pick-up and drop-off service from the Dazhai car park, so you can just leave your car there if you're driving. The entire place is beautifully decorated, giving off a vibe similar to a Hanting Hotel, and it even has a smart speaker. The hygiene is excellent. I heard it's the only guesthouse around here with an elevator (just what I heard!). The front desk staff is also quite lovely. I must say, the chef here makes delicious food – the dry-pot duck was fantastic, and the greens were fresh and sweet. They also have their own homemade rice wine, 'Longji Chunxiang Mijiu', which is pretty good – sweet and smooth. Oh, I almost forgot! Breakfast is included. The shredded pork rice noodles are tasty too. It's so nice to wake up naturally and then enjoy a warm meal. There's also a rooftop terrace with great views. All these photos were taken from there. It was rainy when we visited, otherwise, we could have seen the stars. For even more expansive views, the No. 3 Jinfo Peak viewpoint is definitely the way to go!
