Hotels in Longji Terraced Field-Ping'An Zhuang Village, Longsheng

The location is good. From balconi can see the rice terrace and walk for 20min up to 九龙五虎观景点 Nine Dragon Five Tigers Scenic Viewpoint. The room is nice but ha no tea/caffe We asked for the show time at the Huangluo village but hotel did not give us any info. Saying that they don’t have any idea about the show. We asked for a ride to Huangluo Yao Village that is 10minutes ride and the guy in the reception charged us 70¥. After all, we need to know how to reach Guilin from the village but still the guy replied saying that we have to take a didi taxi. Hopefully, the people in the village are so friendly and helped me and my daughter to get the bus to Guilin for 80¥ only.

We came at an unfortunate timing. Faced with fog and rain we are unable to venture out to enjoy the rice terrace view. Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace. Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes. If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee. Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay.

The Li'an Villa that friends helped to book is particularly amazing. The villa is pure wood structure, with elegant decorations, combined with rattan, relief, and wood. The landscape view environment is very good 👍, especially a happy trip. The little Mr. Zhao who received us was warm and considerate and patient, and took us to various attractions, and there were surprises every day. We bought beautiful and unnamed fruit under the mountain. Xiao Zhao helped us wash and cut the plates, told us how to eat, let us have the feeling of family and home, the hotel is quiet and warm and comfortable, the breakfast is very rich, and there is coffee ☕️, for this we stayed for another two days. Daughter said: I am in a good mood here, and I can read in peace. Thank you very much, Mr. Xiao Zhao, thank you for your thoughtfulness and beautiful sweet-scented tea. We will come again and will recommend friends to come.

This is hands down the best homestay I've ever experienced! The hosts (the owner and his wife) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My suitcase had become exceptionally heavy after several days of travel and shopping. Without a moment's hesitation, even in the pouring rain, the owner single-handedly carried it up multiple flights of stairs. I was deeply touched by his incredible effort; it was genuinely hard work. Dinner was a heartwarming experience, shared with their entire family, and their children were absolutely adorable. The hosts are genuine, hardworking individuals from an ethnic minority group, dedicated to running their homestay with integrity and care. No matter what needs or concerns arose during my stay, the hosts enthusiastically went above and beyond to assist, genuinely caring for every guest. This is something I experienced firsthand. Finding such a wonderful place and meeting such kind-hearted people is truly a lucky and heartwarming part of any journey. This review reflects my honest opinion; if you're reading it, you can book this place without a second thought. The scenery, needless to say, is absolutely stunning, and the location is equally superb. So, when comparing similar value for money, I chose an environment that offered more warmth and positive energy. Encountering such fortunate and heartwarming people and experiences during a tiring journey truly re-energizes us, empowering us to face life with renewed strength and diligence. I believe this is precisely the meaning of why we embark on journeys! I am just an ordinary traveler, and I wrote this review purely out of gratitude for the profound kindness and genuine sincerity I encountered. I generally rarely write reviews. I've even specially included a photo with the host family, hoping everyone will support their business. There haven't been many tourists lately, but my experience was absolutely phenomenal.

Our stay was really nice and we enjoyed the view, fresh air and nature. The service was also friendly and helpful. She was really patient with our translating and was so kind to book us a car to get us to our next destination. We will for sure remember her kindness. Further, we must recommend her dish: beef potatoes. It was sooo tasty and spiced like Chinese-Western cuisine. Important: Our arrival was quite a journey booking a driver to drive us from Guilin to Longji. You must know that it is far away and you can’t drive to the hotel, only to the entry of the Longji Scenic area. There you have to buy tickets for the area if you did not book it in advance. There are some discounts for specific people, just translate the sign with the prices. After paying the entry ticket, you should buy a ticket for the sightseeing bus to take you up to your hotel. It is really a long way - wouldn’t recommend walking uphill to the hotel. The bus ticket also includes a return from your hotel back to the entry. Overall, recommending visiting the area and staying at the hotel.

The owners, both the husband and wife, are incredibly kind. I originally booked a small room, but the landlady proactively upgraded me to a bigger room for free, saying she wanted us to be more comfortable. 👍 They invited us to warm up by the fire and even washed fruit for us to share with their child. We also had dinner at their place, and it was super delicious; the owner even gave us some rice wine. The next morning, when we were heading out, the owner gave us some sweet potatoes and taro from their own farm, which were incredibly sweet. Overall, everything was wonderful, and it truly felt like coming home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Longji.

I took advantage of the last days of summer vacation for a summer getaway, choosing the Longji Rice Terraces and Ping'an Picking Rice. I searched for a hotel for a long time before booking Yixi in advance, and it was definitely the right choice. I was initially worried about parking in the mountains and the cleanliness of the hotel facilities, but I was wrong. It was very convenient; the owner sent a car to pick me up from the parking lot, and we didn't have to walk far. The hotel was designed by the owner himself, and it's absolutely perfect. Every snapshot is beautiful. I could sit by the window all day, enjoying a cappuccino – I loved it! This time I came alone, but I'll bring my family to stay longer when the rice paddies turn golden, and we'll definitely choose Yixi again…

The owners were very welcoming, and the guesthouse was very nice and clean. The food was especially delicious; after traveling for so many days, it was the best I'd had such a wonderful local chicken soup. We caught a lot of paddy field fish, and the owner helped us clean and fry them – they were delicious! He even packed up the leftovers and put them in the refrigerator so we could take them home the next day. The complimentary rice wine was also very good; the owner said it was homemade by his mother. It was really great! If I have the chance and time, I'd definitely stay here for a few more days.

In a homestay inside the Longji Terraced Fields Scenic Area, you can directly see the layers of terraces from the room, with a great view. The owner of this restaurant is very hospitable and personally helps guests with their luggage. The breakfast was delicious and comfortable.

Had an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.
