The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of King’s Cross station. The staff were very helpful, however, the bathroom contained no toiletries and the cleanliness of the room was questionable with marks on the duvet and unclean spoons and cups for tea.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with the subway and train station nearby, and the Eurostar to Europe is also opposite King Across St. Pancras

You are going to jail, my friends, one by one you should be persuaded to leave. The door cannot be locked. It is an old building, so the floor will be noisy. There is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow. It is not suitable for people with luggage. You can hear sneezing when walking next door. We are just purely scared and it is not worth the price at all... The only thing is the location is good, close to the train station

My daughter stayed in this hotel overnight as she had to take the Eurostar the next day from St. Pancras so it was very conveniently situated. However she didn't sleep at all due to feeling that the place was very dodgy as well as being dirty. The receptionist announced her room number to the whole reception area, so anyone knew which room this single girl was going to be in - total lack of discretion and frankly not okay these days. She walked towards the rooms and discovered a man in his underwear wandering around the corridors.... Seriously?! The room itself was horrendous. First of all it was in the basement. The door barely locked at all from the outside and from the inside of the room there was no way of locking it. No dead bolt, no chain, nothing. The bathroom smelt like someone had just used it and the light was still on. The towels were yellowing and everything was damp. There was also a door in the bathroom which led outside and again, no way of locking this door from the inside. The walls and glass in the windows were all very thin so the room was noisy. All in all a very unpleasant experience from a security point of view but also just a lack of basic hygiene. And to top it all, extremely expensive!

In fact it is bad even though functional shower cubicle is present. No storage space. The fridge that does not work left in the room. The kettle in poor condition. They don’t stock rooms with quality or de-caffeinated teas and only sachets of fairtrade Demerara cane sugar that may be mixed with non-certified sugar. Overall as if they wish to showcase England to be a terribly poor country.

I would give minus points if I could. This was the most disgusting room I've ever slept in. I can live with small and old, any regular London tourist knows what I mean, but it was dirty, mouldy & musty. When you opened the dressers it smelled like they had been in a damp cellar for years and were from the bulky waste. You had to push the window up to open it, but unfortunately it didn't hold by itself and kept sliding down. To solve the problem we were given a bible and a longer shower rail (2 levels adjustable to clamp underneath 😂) You really didn't want to be there. Although the window was open 24 hours a day, it didn't stop stinking.

I stayed here many times before Covid and it was okay. I stayed again last week and was disappointed because it’s more run down than before. Tv didn’t work, room was dingy and dirty. I tried to stay again a week later and they could not find the key to my room at the front desk. None of the employees that cleaned the rooms had the key either. They gave me another copy. Questionable safety. I went to my room which had a shared washroom and shower. They were both filthy. I left and found another accommodation. There are many hotels within a 200 m walk for a similar price that are much cleaner and safer (e.g., use fobs or touch code instead of hard key for rooms). I would not recommend staying here.
