Has been several years since last visit. Pretty decent, ...fitness room available 24 hours, - adequate with free weights, treadmills and a couple of cycles. Weight machine available as well. Pool, though was only open till 9pm. Water dispenser could do with more accessible paper cups.

Visited Christmas markets and stayed one night. Arrived early and was given an upgraded room on the 6th floor. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and after about 10pm could no longer hear street noise. Next morning went to breakfast buffet. Enough variety of selection for me, the coffee was good, and plenty of seating at 7:00am. Both check in and check out were easy. Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Leipzig.

The hotel is opposite the train station, the transportation is very convenient, the hotel has a lot of people and it is a hotel that has been converted from a previous apartment. The room is big and you can cook in the kitchen which is very comfortable.

We stayed at Felix in June 10-13, 2023. We had never been to Europe before so we were unsure how to navigate Germany at first. We took a taxi from the airport, it worked well, but now we know we could have easily taken the S5 or S5X to get there. The apartment was lovely with a firm but comfortable bed. There was a large TV and we hooked up our firestick. There was a fabulous view of the university and we were directly across from the opera house. It was easy walking distance to the city center and Bachfest venues. There was an Edeka grocery store around the corner. It had many American snacks as well. We bought eggs and produce there. It was really convenient! There was a long bench under the window which was great for laying out all our things! The kitchenette had a small fridge, two burners, and a microwave. The bathroom had a bunch of shelves for all our stuff, which we used. The shampoo/body wash smelled so good. The shower has a hand held portion and was roomy for two. We used the communal laundry room while we were there. It was set up to use the WeWash App and we found it easy to use. Overall this property was perfect for our stay.

I love Motel One. Normally. But this particularly premise won‘t be my first choice next time. The gentleman, who checked me in, was kind of distant, hardly polite. They still have time slots for breakfast, full hour only, which, he explained, is due to the fact that they have more rooms than space. However, they do have a quite nice bar on the 8th floor, in addition to the much less charming „lounge“ for breakfast in the 7th floor. Why don‘t they use both rooms, when they are sold out (e,g,during the book fair)? The hotel is also extremely noisy in terms of road traffic. It is located at a huge intersection, and about 8 (eight!) ultra-noisy tram lines cross on both sides of the hotel. Even on the 4th floor, and with my windows closed, I only finally fell asleep sometime after 1 a.m., when the last tram drove by, and woke up at 5 a.m., when the first tram of the day made itself heard. My request at check-in for a room at the 7th or 8th floor was ignored by the man I mentioned above. He also just gave me a voucher, with which I was sent to the 8th floor to pick up my complimentary bottle of water, while my colleague, who was checked in next to me by a very nice lady, received a bottle right away. I got mine only, when I asked, why I had to go up to the 8th floor, whereas my colleague got her water over the counter. Last but not least I usually use the Motel One stairways instead of the elevator, even if my room is located on the 6th floor or even higher. And especially, if there are only 3 small elevators in a hotel with - allegedly - 150 rooms (the reason given for the breakfast slots). However, in this hotel there are no stairs that get you to the lobby on the ground floor. I was told would have to exit in the Edeka Supermarket next door, go out into the street, and then enter the hotel again. Strange. Anyway, since there are 2 more Motel Ones in Leipzig, which are both great, nice and with a charming staff, I doubt that I will ever pick the „Post“ again.

Hotel is beside the train station, very convenient with shops and restaurants within the station. Check-in process was slow even though I have completed my online check-in 1 day in advance using the link provided, staff had some difficult time locating my booking. Other than that, the experience is flawless with comfortable room, strong shower, good wifi and decent breakfast for a budget hotel. Overall this is a very value for money stay.
At the ibis Styles Leipzig, you can place your bike in a bicycle storage room. After a relaxing night, start the day with a tasty breakfast, which you can add per room night. The hotel has a special offer for families: in some family rooms, you will find a cuter niche in sandman design. Also, free stay for 2 children under 16 & incl. breakfast in the family room (depending on the room capacity).

We used the hotel for a night without breakfast because of a flight the next day. Fore-night trip is usually associated with less stress. The staff was friendly. Entry and check-in can be made here around the hour. The parking house is just in front. Only a few meters of footmask with baggage is hardly a problem. The airport is almost a contract with the parking house. So in a few minutes walk to reach. Our double room and bath were clean. However, rather narrow and small. But for a night for our purposes and price performance ( about 60 Euro) really OK. The mattress is already remarkably soft, I think. The room has WiFi, TV and air conditioning. Despite the neighbouring air traffic, noise from the air is heard at least nothing from closed windows. We were here for the second time in 2 years and would be booked again at any time because of our positive experience and can recommend it for the purpose of quiet conscience.

The room was a symphony of sophistication and comfort, fitted with plush furnishings and cutting-edge amenities, offering a serene retreat amidst the city’s dynamism. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, reflecting the hotel’s high standards of excellence and care.

The harmonious amalgamation of elegant accommodation, exquisite dining, and prime location makes it a premier destination for those wishing to experience the essence of Leipzig in style and comfort.
GGuest UserIn general a decent hotel, however our AC was not working in the room and given our late checkin (11:30pm) nobody answered the phone when calling reception multiple times, which was very disappointing. We could occasionally also smell cigarettes from the ventilation system. Breakfast was alright. Without the issues it’s a quite decent hotel.
GGuest UserEasy process from start to finish. Bar/reception staff were very nice & professional. Room was clean and had great features (charging port for electronics in a locked cupboard area). The bunks had Curtains for privacy and to stop light. Room was maybe a little too warm/hot - could’ve just been me. Quiet sleep that night which was perfect. Bar on site was small and cheap good beers
GGuest User2 nights in the Special One room to the backyard. We had two very quiet nights. The location is optimal, in the middle of the center. Stop the public transportation very close. Parking in the tie garage near August Square is discounted by the hotel, super! The staff at the reception and breakfast (very good, all bio, selection rich, but not overloaded, finally no pre-mixed muslis) was super nice. Matraces were a little overlooking. But here too our notice was not taken away but welcomed! Very nice again!
TtorinessThis property is in a great location in central Leipzig. An easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. Apartment was massive, modern, secure and very clean. No air conditioning though and we stayed in middle of summer - the room was very hot even with the plug in fan provided we were a little too warm. Also getting the access to the room is a little complicated but once we managed to get the information about how to check in (is all online), it was good. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again.
DdreamtourLvivWe had a really horrible experience in this hotel. We booked 2 rooms Suite from 23/06-25/06 , because of long ride to the hotel and long time spending on the border we came to the hotel 24/05 at 19:00. The lady on reception named Stefani was very rood and ill-mannered, she told us that hotel resale our rooms for other clients because we did not come 23/06 (and did not call to her and told that we will be late, we never did it before in any situation, and each time our rooms, if it was paid , was waiting for us) . According to hotel rules and world rules of check in its not normal. We fully paid for 2 rooms in advance, and in voucher there is information that we can check in from 3:00 pm 23/06 till anytime. It's not the first time that we come not in time to the hotels due to some problems, and every time our rooms was waiting for us, if we paid for it in advance. It does not matter at what time we will come if we paid for it. Its not a hostel or apartment, its 4* hotel, and with no understanding no service and rood talks like with prisoner. We paid for it full price , and why our rooms was resold we did not understand. Second thing is that the lady on reception Stefani was non-polite to us, she did not even tried to find some other hotel for us, we were with kids, she decided BY HER OWN opinion to not refund for us any money (I am not talking about full price, ok, as it was 24/06 and we COME to hotel, and our rooms was resoled, than the hotel should be polite and make a refund of one night from 24/06-25/06) As it is on website of the hotel : ” Will my credit card be charged if I don't cancel and don't show up? Yes, reservations are automatically guaranteed to your credit card. You will be charged for the first nights stay only.” So Ms. Stefani first told me that they did not get any money because they resale rooms, than today on phone talk (I have it recorded) she told me that SHE decide by her own made a 100% fees and she can get money back to us for one night, but she DONT WANT do it, because she did not like how we spoke to her yesterday on reception. So is it normal when some Ms. on reception just make a decision as she want? Not normal for us, we paid money in advance and arrived to hotel one day later (but still had 2 rooms booked and confirmed for one more night). We travel a lot around the world, always book good hotels, and first time have a situation like that! I really hope that I will have an answer for hotel and hope this situation will be fixed. If its not,it will be our last time in each wyndham hotels in the world.
GGuest UserSpent 3 nights here while attending a family wedding. A comfortable room. We ate the buffet the first night which was extremely unimpressive. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice for both hot and cold food. It was a shame hot dog type sausages were the only choice on the third morning, we had both enjoyed the more traditional style of sausage offered on the previous two mornings. My main complaint is that neither the restaurant nor the bar opened on the Sunday. I do not understand why a hotel bar in particular would be closed to guests. A great shame as there were a lot of positives.
GGlennWas stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up.
A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit.
Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.
GGuest UserThe location was perfect and the price was suitable for me. There was enough USB and power outlets for everyone. There was also a mirror and a place to hang clothes (e.g. jackets). There were also a fewer hangers than the people in the room but it was ok during my stay; only one other person and myself used them. There were also 6 locker compartments, which was very useful, but you have to buy your own lock. You can buy it from the lobby but in my case they were out of stock so I bought from Rossman, and thankfully I still had time to get one before they close. So, it's better to buy your own lock and use it in your travel. However, being in an 8-bed room with others meant that the toilet was not always clean because of different people using it, having different standards, and the smell in the room was not very good and needed ventilation and something to protect others when someone in the room is sick. So, I would suggest putting leaflets and using controlled rules. Also, the one who used the bed before me has left the pillow and blanket unorganized and with his own dirty cover, so I had to remove them and tidy them before putting mine. I believe, these should be cleaned and tidied up before me. Also, the heater's knob had no numbers so I couldn't know on which level it is. Also, the attitude of the first person I met at the reception desk was not very good at the beginning, but afterwards I didn't have to talk deal a lot with them. I wouldn't recommend a&o's App for usability, but I used to check-in while on the way. However, when I arrived, it was difficult to use the self check-in terminal. It prints a paper with my room number asking me to confirm it, but how do I know the room number in the first place before checking in?? also, whoever used it before me had not taken his printed receipt, so when I had to take the paper, I took also this receipt, with amounts that are not mine, so it was confusing. When I went to the reception clerk and asked him, he first misunderstood and started the checkin based on that wrong receipt. When I started to notice that, I told him (again) that this receipt is not mine, so he asked me (with quiet frustration) ”then why are you showing me this?” and then asked me for my ID to proceed with my check-in. Of course, it feels very bad when he blames me, but also they should be better listeners and need to pay attention to the usability of the self check-in scenario in the App as well as the terminal.
Ich würde allem abraten hier zu buchen This terrible hotel is rare. First of all, the room smells of sewage and makes my head hurt. Both of the lamps on the bed are broken and the TV remote control is not available. I complained after one night, but only electricity was healed, and even after two nights, the smell of the sewage ditch did not disappear, and I had to open the window and sleep while it was snowing in winter. Never make a reservation for Koki!
