Mercure Telford is beautiful place to be. It has been my regular lodge over 3 years .

This hotel was located just off the motorway, and fairly easy to find. Upon arrival/check in we were informed of our room number and given our key card, however no information was provided. ie (check out times, breakfast times, any of the bar/restaurant details, pool/fitness centre details. We had to go back and forth to reception through out to get the information we needed. Fortunately the staff were friendly and welcoming which made easy to approach them. Room was nice, bit cramped even for a king privilege room. Not much space to walk, too many unnecessary chairs. Room and bathroom was clean. Mini fridge was nicely stocked up with water and soft drinks for free. TV in the room was a smart tv, allowed us to watch Netflix via screen mirroring which was excellent. Bed was comfortable with multiple pillow options. Sockets and USB charging points on both sides of the room, great for charging multiple devices. Full length mirror and cupboard space to hang up clothes. Nice gown and slippers presented neatly on the bed. We did visit the pool facilities on multiple occasions during our stay. It was just a medium size. With a separate jacuzzi and steam room and sauna. Pool water was nice temperature, slightly warm which felt really nice. Lighting in the pool area was poor, quite dimly lit. Lockers in changing area needs a padlock, as we didn’t know we didn’t take out. Some chairs are available on the pool side which we were able to put out things. Dining room was nicely laid out with ample space to move around. Breakfast had multiple options including vegetarian options available on request. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay. Would recommend it.

The staff were very friendly and helpful we forgot our toothpaste and toothbrush and we asked at front desk and got given a dental kit also ran out of tea and sugar. Swimming pool was beautiful

Had the worst experience from a hotel stay.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a very good location for the train and shopping centre. A small but reasonable gym and a bonus to have the swimming/sauna facilities although the pool and jacuzzi were a little on the small side so often quite full. Staff were friendly and helpful when approached. Parking charges seemed a little expensive which was a bit of a put-off for driving there and the walk-in shower wasn’t great as water got all over the floor because the glass piece wasn’t really long enough to contain the water. Overall, a very pleasant stay and would stay there again if in the area.

Nice hotel,very close to railway (which was just as well as would have brought car until saw the prices to park) Room quite new and comfortable ,could have done with more drawers.Shower quite good to use but water ran down to other end too easily would have been nice to have abath,did have one in my first room. Breakfast quite comprehensive but expensive Nice to have a pool and jacuzzi albeit small Staff on reception pleasant and helpful would stay again if could park nearby

Clean, plenty of amenities that we did not have time to use unfortunately, location ideal for access to Telford Central Train Station

Absolutely charming hotel with great facilities and lovely staff

Convenient, simple no fuss accommodation. Food was average in the restaurant but the service was very good and helpful. Just a shame no alternative milks for breakfast except soya. Room a little worn but had everything needed for the night.

Room services communication needs to be addressed. It was difficult to communicate with Reception as the phone kept ringing. Tv and fridge not working in one of the rooms. Unfortunately, this was not communicated .Staff very friendly, and facility looked perfectly clean.I can go back for another romantic vacation with my wife if I get the chance.

Very disappointed with the room allocated to us  ,the shower had intermittent hot water in the end  we showered cold water
