Hotels near Garden Stone Ct, Las Vegas

We had a great stay at the California Hotel and ******. It is more casual. Great table games in the ******, staff was always friendly and accomodating, and the location was perfect. I would recommend the hotel for a reasonable stay in Vegas.

I actually stayed here in June of 2018 but there was no options for 2018, only went to 2021. My husband was in a horrific car accident while working in Las Vegas and was in the ICU at the hospital. I stayed here alone for two weeks until he was able to leave the hospital and we drove home. The room I had was recently remodeled and the bathroom was huge with a beautiful glass shower and a long counter space with a large mirror. I loved the bathroom. The bed was high up, super big and so comfortable. The bedding was luxurious and the comforter was top notch, very poofy and soft. The room and bathroom were spotless. There was a housekeeper there, an asian lady, and she was so sweet to me. I had told her what happened with my husband and why I was staying there. She asked how he was doing every day that I saw her and she was very caring. They have a Starbucks and a restaurant that I got dinner from every night and took up to my room. Even though I stayed there alone, I felt safe being there. There was a worker in front of the elevators that you had to show your hotel key and i.d. to before they let you get on the elevators to go up to the rooms and I was glad they were doing that. There was also a bakery there that had alot of yummy desserts to choose from. All of the workers were so polite and professional. I would definitely stay again. It was my first time staying at the Palace.

The hotel is close to the exhibition center. The room was not cleaned during the stay and the garbage was not cleaned.

As normal, my reviews are usually based on how a particular hotel or restaurant rates in its class, and against similar competition. In other words, a Hampton Inn isn’t to be compared to say, a Four Seasons. And on that note; Gold Coast Hotel and ****** is not to be compared to The Palazzo, Wynn or The Bellagio, all of which are located on the strip. Located just a mile west of the strip, on W Flamingo, the location is actually better than expected. One can be on the strip in a 15-20 min walk. So, though not on the strip, it’s not as bad as some of the other comparable hotel ******s. We were in town to do a show, and needed ample parking for our trucks. So staying on the strip was out either way: That leaves a few select hotels that could accommodate us; and many of these are in rather sketchy areas. GC has a huge parking area in the rear, with easy access and multiple entries. Overall, it’s probably not as large as The Orleans, but certainly a better location in my opinion. And it’s absolutely light yrs better and much safer than the “Wild Wild West Days Inn” on Tropicana(in which I’ll say in bold text, STAY AWAY!”) The GC exterior seems the same as the day it was built: in other words, old and worn…lol. However, enter inside, and you’ll notice a much improved interior to its humble beginning. The decor still leans classic, but with a touch of modern: And overall actually, quite nice. There’s plenty of gaming, and several restaurants, including a TGIF, which I did not try, and a really good Chinese joint, which I did. The lunch menu was reasonable, and the quality was actually pretty good, if you want Chinese: And they’re open till 3am. Amenities here include a swimming pool(small), and a bowling alley. Neither of which I had time to use… Sorry Rooms: The rooms here have been updated with a fresh remodel at some point recently. A new Flatscreen tv, and a modern wardrobe add to the details. Note: I was one floor from the top, which can be tricky for battling the Vegas heat, for many hotel A/C systems. However, the unit in my room was more than adequate at keeping things chilled down(That one surprised me). The bathroom has all new tile, and a small window for some ventilation(nice touch). Water pressure was really good, but temperature wasn’t easy to adjust at first; but no deal breaker. Overall, the room was clean, modern enough, and the beds was decent for this price range. The service here was surprisingly good(I’ve read this before, and in many places, from those who have stayed at many of the Boyd properties). Everyone was extra friendly, and made the extra effort to make one feel welcomed. So, while not a Four Seasons, you’ll have no worries. Wrapping it up: Overall, this is a good choice for the money; and certainly has ample parking for big rigs, motor homes or other. This is one of the most confusing, poorly signed hotels I've ever been to. Vegas is a busy place and there's so much confusion as to where to go, which section your room is in, and how to get to the parking. The parking is like a maze of poorly signed confusion. The staff are also overwhelmed and don't always have time to help you properly. No room cleaning unless you specifically request it. The one good thing is its location North ***** opposite Ceasers Palace which has better signage and isn't as confusing.

Resort is close to the middle of the strip. Easy walk to the Linq Promenade. Has it's own pool so you don't have to deal with the bigger Flamingo pool crowd (but that is available if you want it). Pool is open all year. Do the High Roller if you can (I don't like heights but it was very comfortable). Battista's Hole in the Wall is good food, free wine and reasonably priced-short walk from resort. Silverado at the Southpoint ****** was a quite good and reasonably priced steak house. Carlos and Charlie's at the Flamingo is very good for breakfast. Also good for breakfast is the Egg and I. You have to drive there and there are a couple but it was quite good. Saw a show called The Rat Pack is Back (excellent) at the Tuscany ******.

I took my mom for a significant life event and went to the nines with upgrades and it was worth it. She has a really good time in the space. The staff were courteous and welcoming, and even gave her a red rose because it was Valentine’s Day. The staff members were helpful directing us to the elevator to our room, and during check out they asked how it went. We enjoyed the extravagant and grand decorations from ***** New Year as well. I have nothing bad to say and all the excellent compliments to give this hotel. Highly recommend.

My leisure,libation,fun,enjoyment and pleasure all in one place. The exotic cuisine is authentic that’s why I find it to be perfect and excellent. The service is attentive and personal at it’s best. Keep me in mind everytime you want to make a deal in your promotions and marketing. I can use a break such as freebies, discounts, comps., free play, that are worth coming back for as incentive to get me in the house to patronize your business. Make it competitive for there are others that want my business as well but not attractive enough of a proposal for me to splurge and spend my social security and pension in wholeheartedly without regret and restraint. The most important thing is that I paint the town red, go gallivanting, find pleasure and enjoyment in everything I do and not be dissapointed and discouraged or disgusted and annoyed/irritated. Make me happy, is that so much to ask ? As I know for certain that the House always wins.

New hotel, new facilities, high quality breakfast, a small number, homemade yogurt. The room is very quiet and quiet. Unfortunately, the suite does not have a washing machine. It’s actually a little distance from the avenue. You can only go by car. Walking is definitely not convenient. There are buses, free of charge, but tips are generally given. One person a knife. Overall recommendation

No kettle or coffee machine at room. If you need hot water, need to to Starbucks or cafe to buy or ask for it freely if you are lucky. Very troubling. Need to call house keeping for Room clean up , staff may not automatically clean up your room if you not call them.
