DiDi ride to the hotel was easy and check-in was smooth. We loved that pedestrian street Zhangye Road was just 150 meters from the hotel and night market Da Zhong Xiang was 500 meters. The hotel has two elevator locations, one right under the sign that says Courtyard Hotel and another one through a small alley on the right side of Bank of Gansu which you will see is situated in the same building as the hotel. Must go to 5th floor for reception. Bathroom amenities and towels were replaced daily. Small issue is some parts of room were dusty, window not cleaned and I wished there was a bidet spray for washing.

I have always been fond of Hampton by Hilton, so I still booked your hotel when I passed by Lanzhou this time. As soon as I entered the hotel, the beautiful waitresses received us warmly with smiles on their faces, making us feel as warm and friendly as at home. Although the room is not big, it is very warm, clean and tidy. The biggest point of the hotel is that it is very close to the pedestrian street and snack street. The surrounding area is very prosperous and the breakfast is also very exquisite. Thank you to the beautiful girl at the front desk for her enthusiastic, warm and friendly service. It is worth staying!

After looking for it online for a long time, I finally decided to stay at this hotel. First of all, the location is really good. Just in the city center, I got off at the high-speed rail station and took the subway directly to the store. It was very convenient and the hotel staff was very enthusiastic. The room arranged for me could also see the night view of Xiguan Cross at night. It was very good and clean. Very clean, I am very relieved to stay. And knowing that I am here to travel, I am very enthusiastic to introduce me to nearby attractions and delicious places. Saved me from making my own strategy. The barbecue restaurant and beef noodle shop recommended to me tastes really good, Lanzhou barbecue is really delicious. Next time I have the opportunity to come to Lanzhou, I will still choose this hotel.

I originally intended to stay 2 nights at Hyatt, but ended up extending my stay for 2 more nights because of the excellent service & the amazing view from my room. I switched rooms twice, because other customers secretly smoked in their rooms and the 2nd hand smoke infiltrated into mine, even though the hotel has a strict policy of no smoking. The staff and especially Owen, the front desk manager, was especially accommodating. He made every effort to see to my comfort during my stay, even upgrading my room and offering two free breakfasts because of the smoking issue. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel in Lanzhou - the service & room & pool & gym & food (the Lanzhou beef noodles) are excellent!

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

RRoyWe stayed here as a family to end our road trip around Qinghai and Gansu. The hotel is wonderfully appointed with soft beds and really comfortable rooms. We arrived too late for dinner in so ate noodles outside at one of many nearby places. The view over the Yellow River is pretty good and the hotel breakfast is very good value.
The staff deserve special praise, very helpful for the checkin with all the Covid health code requirements they were very helpful.
A special mention to the concierge, Wei Keyang/ICE, the concierge on duty was extremely helpful with my last minute request to ship some awkward shaped bulky souvenirs back to Jiangsu home. I caused no end of problems which he was very happy to help with and dillgently solved, even after we had checked out and got to the airport. It is service like this that really makes the difference and is very much appreciated.

GGuest UserThe location is really convenient. The front desk staff is patient and enthusiastic, and will answer any inquiries. It is very close to the Pedestrian Street, Zhongshan Iron Bridge, Baita Temple (Baita Mountain Park), Lanzhou Forest of Steles, within walking distance. We went down the mountain and took a sheepskin raft and ate at the Asiya Xiguan restaurant. There is Watsons downstairs in the hotel, and I added lip balm, and the northwest is still quite dry. The hawthorn candied haws at the candied haws store at the door is delicious, and the sugar is crunchy. The sugar of this kind of candied haws in Suzhou is sticky. It should be enough to stay for two nights, and you can also go to Zhengning Night Market. We flew from Dunhuang to Lanzhou, and stayed near the airport for the first night. Afterwards, we felt that we should have stayed here on Zhangye Road for the first night. Another thing is that there is a Michelle Ice City store on the sheepskin raft. Next to it is a specialty store. It is really cheaper than the ones on the highway or in the airport. Very solid. I didn't think about buying cigarettes until I arrived at the airport. Lanzhou Jixiang sold for 32 packs at the airport, and 25 packs outside. It sells for 28 outside the Three Fortress, and 40 at the airport.

GGuest UserWe had a amazing stay. Lovely beds, shower and the food for breakfast was delicious and had such variation! The staff were incredibly helpful.
Li Wenqiao was particularly superb!! He went out of his way to help us we any questions and needs we had during our stay (often before we even had the chance to ask!). This included sorting us out car hires in Lanzhou and beyond. Despite the language barrier he made a sincere effort to make us feel welcome and check we understood everything we needed to know.
Wang Naipeng was also amazingly helpful! Coming to the rescue when we ordered takeout to completely the wrong place 😂
We wish were returning to Lanzhou again soon, so we could stay in the hotel again! :)

The location is around 10mins walk to the lanzhou west train station, however during my stay there, part of the road was under construction, so it wasn't the most easiest to get around especially when the round overhead bridge only had stairs. Nearby there are lots of malls and place to eat. For the room itself, despite the cosy ambience, it rirks of smoke smell especially on my first day. At night, it's even worst as the air filter started leaking more cigarettes stench into my room. There is also no hairdryer provided. And what happened to the mountain view room I was supposed to have? The view outside is just the road and some dirty cityscapes. I was so looking forward to that 🫤. I was also locked out of my room after the first night, and luckily one of the cleaner helped me unlock my room and save me from making another trip down to the receptionist. Overall I will still recommend a stay.

GGuest UserThe front door of the hotel is diagonally opposite the Provincial Maternity and Children's Hospital. Parking is in Area J of the parking lot on the 3rd floor of the Lanzhou Center. The elevator goes directly to the lobby on the 5th floor. The environment is satisfactory and the service is good. If you want to eat, go out to the side of the hotel lobby and go directly to the 5th floor of the Lanzhou Center Mall. , shopping and food are convenient. Overall it's okay if it's not too harsh. I'm more afraid of the cold and snow, so I asked the front desk for a quilt and they also provided an electric heater. I praised the receptionist Xiao Jiang!

GGuest UserI chose to stay close to the airport so that I can bound a flight easily to diffrent places. The hotel is also within 15 minutes walk to Lanzhou new area railway to give me easy train ride (40 minutes) to Lanzhou west (main) station. The only down side is if you are coming back late, there are very limited trains to the new area railway, and nothing to Zhongchuang airport railway either except private ride (around 75 km, price is 28 yuan for the shared ride or 200 yuan for solo). However, once you can manage to get to the airport, there will be free shuttles from the hotel just by calling to their friendly staffs. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone. I really appreciate the visions of the hotel founder (his book can be found when you enter the room :) who successfully created hotel homes for travellers. I felt comfortable and home there.

Even before arrival we reached out to Li and she promptly promised to send a car to meet us upon arrival at Langzhouxi. The Tumendun metro station is right in front of the hotel. So is the bus stop which serves buses running to several Lanzhou attractions.
Aside from the obvious locational advantages the thing that strikes me most is the warmth and hospitality of the family running the place. Everyone from father, mother, 2 sons to DIL was eager to help with any questions that we might have. We couldn’t believe how patient they were in providing invaluable insights for the benefit of the tourist.
The room and bathroom were kept clean. Hot and cold water were readily available as well as a kettle.
We are grateful and would like to thank the whole family for treating us like family during our short stay here!
