This hotel has so much potential - it has a great ocean front patio, beach access and a nice pool. It needs new management, as the service was AWFUL. The AC unit and coffee machine were broken in our first room, and the courtesy water bottles had dirty hand prints on them. We let the front desk know about the AC and asked if we could get some coffee while we waited for the machines to be swapped. She directed us to the bar but said that we'd have to pay. The gentleman who came up to swap out our coffee machine, was apologetic when the second machine also didn't work and offered us some coffee from the bar and we appreciated this. When we arrived back to the hotel, there was no effort to have a new room ready for us until we inquired about that status of our AC which was confirmed broken by maintenance. When our room was finally ready, there was no apology for the inconvenience. In the new room, the ice tongs were used/dirty. This room didn't have cable television and when we opened the internet we got a lovely view of a lady spread eagle on the TV screen from a prior guests search history. It was almost comical that when we checked out and shared this feedback, one staff member said "Thank goodness this is my next to last night." And the trainee, referred us to a hotel down the street for future stays that is "actually a luxury hotel". Its beach front so that was nice, but not a luxury hotel.
