Although the hotel is not in the middle of the tourist sites it is very conveniently placed. The food was good, the bed was, as expected, comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth the money.

The hotel provides both breakfast and dinner, and it's pretty good. Smoking rooms can also be provided, which is the greatest happiness for us smokers, and there is no need to stand in front of the hotel and smoke in the cold wind. The front desk service is also very good, very satisfied in all aspects.

It was not bad in general but I think there are several things to improve like trying to put an elevator as up the luggage is very uncomfortable and there is no loading and download area and when we arrived the parking was full and it was a odisea to lower the The hotel is a very small hotel, the hotel is very small and the hotel is very comfortable. The bed is quite comfortable and has a beautiful view in the high area of the river. It also has a good location.Yes you have a fixed budget fulfill your purpose but, as I said earlier, it needs some improvements. I wouldn't repeat.

As we were attending a family wedding here, we decided to stay in an apartment (villa) for a few days. We had a very warm welcome from the guy on reception, who was really helpful throughout our stay. The villas are all detached and very unusual looking as can be seen in the photos. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was incredibly spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. The complex is beautifully kept and fascinating to wander around. Although it was absolutely full, it was amazingly quiet most of the time. However, be warned that the weddings can go on until 3:00 and the noise is incredibly loud. We were attending one, so not complaining! The supermarket is about a 15 minute walk or very short drive away and the beach a 30 minute walk. The ancient pazo is fabulous inside and the grounds are beautiful. We didn’t have chance to eat there (4 days of family celebrations - anyone who has attended a Spanish Boda will understand the amount of food involved!) This hotel is where we will always stay midweek when in A Coruna in future.

The location of this hotel is spectacular because 2 minutes walk from everything: the longshore, the Maria Pita Square, the old town, the sea moles, the roads with numerous places to be able to magic tapas and more, the market and the beach of Orzan. The most remote place can be the Hercules Tower that can be reached by taking a beautiful walk on the seaside of about 25 minutes. Hotel is recently renovated, still very new, everything very comfortable. Belen at the reception was professional to show me on the map what to visit, always available and with a smile, you can also use me with free water bottles in the refrigerator hall. If you arrive late and the reception is closed, do not worry about the clock to open the door and you will check in them by a monitor live !

Hotel céntrico, reformado con sencillez, mobiliario básico pero útil, baños totalmente renovados e impolutos al igual que el resto del hotel. Buena relación calidad - precio, ideal para pasantes e incluso fines de semana, ya que se encuentra en una zona de ocio. Personal muy amable y profesional.

We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel. Only wondering why it has only 4 stars…..?! The design is incredible, everything very well thought of and in an overall clean and tidy state. We enjoyed having breakfast in the room as the views couldn’t be better. The restaurant “Olas” was very delicious with very attentive and friendly staff. We would always choose this hotel again. The walks along the seaside and to the castle are unforgettable.

Stop in Betanzos, no hotel or hostel available, we rely on Booking that sends us 9 km from the Road. Silence, peace, hairdryer, breakfast and dinner restaurant, shower with throws on the back here also total relax. Please take us to betanzos in the morning when contacting the taxi x to take the way back.

This hotel is nicely located across from the beach, the beach view was amazing and within walking distance to activities and restaurants/old town. Hotel staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. They spoke English very well (thank you) The room was very small and bare-bones. Pillow well used and bed small. No coffee pot or hot water for instant, and sp**** in amenities. No where to put luggage. Breakfast was just OK. ”Hot” items were not hot (eggs, etc). The bathroom was beautiful polished marble but extremely slippery even with a little moisture. The tub was also slippery and dangerous. There was a lot of noise from the grooming of the beach and picking up trash in the middle of the night.

We stayed for 8 nights in October. The GOOD: 1. Great location, in a quiet residential area with easy access & parking. Walking distance to a beach, clifftop walks & supermarket. About 15 minutes' walk to Santa Cruz with a good selection of restaurants. 2. The renovated room was well furnished, bright & spacious with a kitchenette. 3. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a spacious, walk in shower & basic toiletries were supplied. 4. Everything is spotless. 5. The breakfast is plentiful, choice of Nespresso coffees, fresh juices, fruit & hot options. The NOT SO GOOD: 1. The soundproofing is not great - our room was on the first floor & we were woken by noise from rooms above. We were also directly next to the gym which can be used from 07.00 - 22.00. One evening we heard a very loud, regular thumping sound which was travelling right through into our bedroom & reverberating through the floor, which is wooden. When I investigated, there was a small exercise class in progress & they were bouncing heavy medicine balls onto the floor... ! Although there was rubber matting on the floor, it certainly should not be allowed. I subsequently learned that this was ”the slam ball manoeuvre” as I looked it up on Youtube. On another occasion we were woken just after 07.00 by someone using a piece of equipment which is attached DIRECTLY behind our bedroom wall. It has webbing straps & metal fittings which once let go, can ping against the wall. That equipment should definitely be sited elsewhere or removed. 2. Although both flat screen TVs had numerous channels I was surprised that not one is in English although there were one or two channels in French & German. This didn't spoil our stay but a news channel at least would have been appreciated. 3. The kitchenette came in handy a couple of times, it's not particularly well equipped. I was sad to see that previous guests have been cutting directly onto the worktop which is only plastic covered chipboard. We did bring all these points to the attention of the reception staff so I hope the management take note of our constructive criticism as it will improve their guest experience in future. TIPS: 1. Pick your room carefully, preferably on the top floor to avoid noise disturbance.
