Called Triple Hill and requested 27 rooms on very short notice. TH gave the assurance they could find us 20 rooms onsite and an additional 7 rooms off-site Come 20th June, we are only given 13 rooms and told ”you haven't made a down payment, so we had to give out the remaining rooms” This event will happen annually, but i dont think we will consider THH in our future bookings Our party has been accused of damaging property and ”stealing” towels - Once we get to the bottom of this, our dealings with THH will be cut short PROS Lovely location, great ambiance, secure and you get some great views of Accra, Weija etc. Reasonably priced and the food isn't bad. There are some shows / events at Apatase (just across the road), and this gives different flavor to the whole experience CONS Hotel management is petty, and basic calculations on an excel sheet seems a challenge Should have been a pleasant experience, and perhaps, things could have been communicated in a much better way, but we thank Triple Hill Hotel (THH) for their hospitality and accommodating us on very short notice

We were definitely surprised to find a gem at the end of a dusty, rocky road. We were greeted upon arrival and led to a VERY spacious room that had a balcony overlooking the lush grounds. It was lovely to look out through the coconut palms and see the stretch of sand for a very long way. We had fresh fish, prawns and lobster - even the tomatoes tasted so sweet and flavorful. The highlight of the meals were the Ghanaian specialties. I felt like there was an auntie in the kitchen blending spices and secrets to plate our meals everyday. The hotel is adjacent to a beach that non-guests pay a small fee to enter. I imagine it wold be crowded and littered and out of control were it not for this gatekeeper. As a hotel guest, my quick boat ride was free. The beach was fairly empty when I went, which I was glad for. There were not any chaise loungers but the attendant quickly put a chair under a thatch hut . I was offered a menu but did not eat anything while on the beach. There were no annoying vendors which was a huge PLUS; only a horseback rider who kept it moving when I declined. The sunrise, and the sunset couldn't have been more beautiful. Hats off to the hotel servers (Carol, Linda) and the cooks, they made sure that the food was always worth waiting for. Don't be in a hurry, just relax with a glass of wine and the Afrobeats playing through the ocean breeze. Even the housekeepers, Janet and Grace, were super sweet and conscientious going out of their way to do our laundry as our luggage was delayed. Thank you to the owner for helping arrange many trips to the airport to try to recover our luggage. The managers were extremely accommodating, even offered us a bottle of wine to take away our troubles upon arrival. It was a stay to remember.

My 14 days quarantine experience at this Hill View Hotel at McCarthy Hill has been like a well planned, excellent vacation needed after a long flight to Ghana, in the mist of a pandemic. I feel safe, well nourished, rested and so 'spoiled' by the whole team caring for my stay in these challenging times. My meals are always cooked and served hot; they include daily breakfast, lunch & dinner. *I will encourage travelers going to Ghana, secure your place at Hill View Hotels for the best experience. One is located at McCarthy Hill and the other at West Airport area, all under the same management, a family owned hotel business. *Please, make sure that you don't confuse Hill View Hotels with any other name(s). Call the hotel directly from your online research number and let your enquiries help you make informed decisions. I thank Hill View Hotels management for taking me in for my required 14 days quarantine by Ghana immigration authorities and turning it into a pleasant and nourishing experience for me. I definitely will return here on our next family visit to Ghana after the COVID-19 shutdown. Stay safe and stay blessed 🙏 Joyce
