Our first time in Kyoto and decided to stay at a Ryokan! This place was clean, staff was friendly and was at a very convenient location. Loved it would stay again!

The location is very good, surrounded by restaurants and a large Lawson next to it. It takes 5 minutes to walk to Daimaru Department Store and 5 minutes to Shijo Kawaramachi. It is a quiet place in a busy city. The price is really good during the cherry blossom season. And the hotel has only 27 rooms, so it is easy to manage with few guests and very quiet.
Because it has been open for a long time, it is a bit old. The sink is super small and the water will burst when washing your face. The tatami is relatively thin and it is a bit hard to sleep on.
The large bath on the first floor below is sp****ly populated and very clean. It is very comfortable to soak in it after a day of shopping.

The hotel is in a good location with convenient transportation. It is a few hundred meters away from the subway station. There are Daimaru Department Store and Nishiki Market near the hotel, which is very convenient for shopping and eating. The hotel facilities are a bit old. Ctrip indicated that the extra bed is 6500 yen/person, but the hotel front desk did not recognize this price (said they had no idea about Ctrip's standard) and had to calculate it according to the price of the order per person, which was about 11,500, which is almost twice the Ctrip standard. Although the hotel has a large bath, it is actually a 1.8×1.8 bath, and there are no facilities or services. It is very tasteless! Apart from the location, there is no other reason to recommend it.

A very good Japanese-style hotel. There is a large bathroom on the ground floor. The location is great. I was in a rush this time and did not experience dinner and breakfast. I am a little regretful.
