Rooms are good, Toilets are good. Floor is little sticky due to its nature and may be it's new. Breakfast is okay. Lunch/Dinner options are limited. Property doesn't allow food in the rooms and also outside food inside the property. Otherwise quiet and serene location with lot of birds chirping around... Mohsin and Kuntal are gem of people who will take good care of guests arranging taxi, auto right at their doorstep to your destinations.

Stayed for 1 day, very remotely located, no proper food service. For Dinner very few items were there, ASKED EXTRA MONEY FOR LITTLE CURD, which I didn’t like. Rooms are clean. But, no much things to do in this boring so called resort. It’s not a resort, it just like a HOMESTAY.

It was a pleasant stay, rooms are good, price is reasonable, the approach road is undergoing some repair else all was good. We could observe a lot of birds near from the terrace as it is a forest patch. Kids loved few books on nature that was available to read.

Wonderful experience...good ambience. It was a good place, very nice for a family visit. The staff were very friendly and enlightened about the various activities in Thekkady so we had a very unique experience while staying here. The rooms very clean and large.

Spacious and comfortable rooms with clean linens, clean bathrooms... perfect place for family stay, Kids safe environment. Got some indoor games for the kids too. The staffs at the reception Sarath and kundan are very courteous and helpful...they also help the guests booking the local shows like kalari, kathakali etc In total worth for the money..!!

We (5 adults and 2 kids) stayed for one night in the Family-Suit room. The rooms were spacious, clean, well maintained with all the required amenities. The staff were very helpful, co-operative and friendly. The location of the hotel near a forest area also gives you a nature experience. Other than the bumpy ride through the narrow street to the hotel, which at the time of our visit was in a very bad shape, the overall experience was very nice. I would certainly recommend the hotel for a pleasant stay with family.

Very bad approach road.. insects found inside the room when we entered.. cleanliness is ok.. but nothing great about the property.. staff is quick to respond.. limited items for breakfast and dinner.. nobody was around when we checked out early morning

Excellent stay. Very good service and hospitality. Good breakfast and dinner. You can heard ***y birds sound very clearly as forest is beside the hotel. Room is spacious and clean. ***ager and other staff behavior is too good. Overall awesome experience at Avadale Thekkady

My stay was for 2 nights and it was most pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was great and all the staff very helpful and polite. I highly reccommend Avadale. The stting is tranquil and the garden is well maintained. I can think of nothing untoward to say about it.
