Villa Cha-Cha Krabi Beachfront Resort

This is our 4th trip to Krabi and subsequently the 4th hotel that we have stayed at. Villa cha cha in a nutshell is everything you want in a resort for a family trip. We booked the beachfront suite and it was nice, spacious and comfortable! The service is overall good but, and this is a minor issue, the food takes time to be served in the restaurant, which basically means you can enjoy more cocktails in the happy hour :) It is a 15 mins drive away from Ao Nang beach but they have a free shuttle service every half hour. Another thing they can improve upon is having another masseuse at their spa. There is only one masseuse and sometimes the wait period is too long!

A great villa with a large enough pool. If you travel by car or bike, the location is very cool, as you are in the middle between Ao Nang, and several beaches, BigSi and Tesco, and many places - the Temple of Tiger, farms, channels, etc. Happy with your villa. Staff very good, always helped, every day cleaned and made towels. In the pedestrian availability there are shops, ATMs, several cafes and one massage salon. Of course recommended!

Hard to know where to start… bitterly disappointed is the phrase I’d use. Everything from start to finish wasn’t great. Most of the issues centred around poor quality of service with what seems to be badly trained staff. The rooms are designed nicely but cleaned poorly, multiple occasions where surfaces were not wiped and products not replenished. The service at the bar and restaurant was bad with food coming out at different times, forgetting orders or it taking 40+ mins. The shuttle times are limited so that if you want to go out to the town for dinner or lunch you need to pay for a taxi, which are also over priced compared to other areas of Thailand. Items were placed on our bill that were included in our stay, after asking confirming several times that these items wouldn’t be an added extra. We booked a snorkelling tour with the hotel which was very poor. Due to multiple reasons we felt unsafe and asked the hotel to tell the boat driver to take us home. She then proceeded to tell him to ignore us and sail further out to sea in the hood we’d change our mind. It took us 6 times of asking to be finally taken back. When we made a formal complaint at the hotel we weren’t given an apology or refund, not even a bottle of gesture of good will… nothing. We were asked to pay nearly £200 per person for the NY event, on top of our stay, which I felt was outrageously overpriced. There is a real sense of over charging guests and not providing service or products that warrant the high fees. Overall very unhappy with our stay. The staff need some thorough training and a duty of care for the guests needs to be given priority. It’s important to note that the hotel wasn’t even half full yet the team seemed overwhelmed and unprepared.

When I tried to find a hotel that could provide Islamic breakfast, I recommended this hotel in Krabi and they helped us book a sea view room at a very cheap price. The hotel is in Nongduo Bay and the Krabi River can be seen from the room. Recommend this hotel to those who want to live in quiet places, not recommended for those who want to live in a place with a rich nightlife. Tips: the upper floors in the west are better.

Overall the hotel is next to awful. Location is hidious, there's really nothing nearby (e.g. restaurants), and the hotel has virtually no services except some snacks and free instant coffee in the morning. Our room smelled like sewer, and I had to get one of the bed sheets changed as it was dirty. Otherwise the room was OKish, just a bit worn. The pool is otherwise nice, but the water was not clear, so apparently the use of chemicals is not done as it should. The ”pool” or ”garden” views are just rubbish, you can see a glimpse from the windows. And don't buy that free airport shuttle promise. There is a free ride 3 times a day (6am, 1pm, 8pm), otherwise it costs 300 bahts assuming their driver is available. In our case he was not - we needed to leave around 9:30 am, and he was booked from 9:30 to 10:30 for other rides, and was not yet at the hotel by 9 for an earlier departure (*** - only 1 driver and no service at 9???). There was no help in getting other taxis (that are not flying around in the area), except ”you can book it from internet”. We'll we did for double the price. Would not recommend unless absolutely in need to have a room for 1 night before taking off.

An apartment with a strong sense of design. I really like the environment of this apartment. It is particularly elegant. There is no peculiar smell in the room. The cleaning is very clean. The bathroom facilities are also very complete. There is also a separate bathroom, which looks very high-end. The lighting and ventilation in the room are also relatively good. Staying here for one night still feels very good.
