Mitsis Selection Blue Domes

An amazing location, within a beautiful setting. The facilities are plentiful, and the food offerings are spectacular. The bars offer unlimited drinks throughout the day, and Blue Domes has freshwater pools running throughout its core structure. The good offerings were expansive, and catered for all dietary needs. The only downside which I found was that the rooms were not sound insulated, and therefore as I was at the end of housing section the noice from the service road was slightly irritating. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the location to family and friends.

This is really a great hotel with a luxurious feel and amazing views. It’s set on a slope/hill down towards the beach. Lots of stairs(but lift access aswell) Staff are very attentive and food quality is there, but not mind blowing. Brunch restaurant is a must, with very interactive friendly staff (Stamatia really made an effort). Evenings were cooler so be prepared. Overall hotel can’t be faulted, really worth every Penny.

This place is a little piece of heaven. A lot of attention to detail went into the design of the place and the facilities, food and people were amazing. We went for an all inclusive stay and it did everything we had expected and more. The variety of restaurants and food places open during the day was great. Especially grateful to: - the lady at the concierge desk who organised it so that me and my husband could use the open gym to workout in the morning. - Elizabeth the lady with the warmest welcome possible. Always happy to see you and said such kind words. It's people like this who make the stay amazing so I hope if you visit you get to meet them. - the lady at the vegan/ juice bar who would always give our daughter a fresh cup of strawberrys when she saw her - all the cleaning, bar, restaurant staff who went out of there way to make sure you have everything you need. We even had some freshly baked bread delivered to our room to celebrate Easter. I'm not sure if this is coincidence but the only thing they didn't have for breakfast was porridge - so I would ask the bar for some hot milk - then like magic the next day (and every day after there was porridge ready made and available) - the kids area is great and a special shout out to the ladies who work so hard to do so many fun and educational activities for the children. Our daughter was 18 months so we had to stay with her but we could still get involved in all of the fun and there were plenty of toys. I could go on but I hope I've made the point that they really do sweat the small stuff here and it didn't go unnoticed! A few heads up that might be good to know in advance: - a la carte restaurants need to be booked in advance - easiest way to do this is via the app - lunch is at 12.30 and dinner at 6:30pm - so if you have to factor in naps don't do what we did and show up in between :) - the hotel is around 35 mins from Kos town We hope you visit and have a lovely experience just like we did! Firstly, the overall experience and stay at Mitsis Blue Domes was incredible. It’s one of the most stunning resorts we have ever been too, always clean, and plenty of space around the resort to explore, relax and swim! Check in was okay, however, could have been better. The staff member didn’t really explain the hotel, or give us a map. He just passed us the keys and nothing else. Breakfast was varied with plenty of choice. Always something to eat and hot food. Service could be a bit quicker in the buffet restaurant however overall enjoyable experience. The breakfast buffet would defiantly benefit from another toaster also. The pool areas and resort grounds are incredible. You feel as if you’re living in a Greek dream. Plenty of sun beds and no issues with getting a bed, however, we went at the start of October. This could be different for other times if the year. More staff needed for front reception. Often had to queue to ask a question or for help. Desk is big enough for more people so not sure why there wasn’t more people to service it especially when it was busy. Booking a taxi was very long winded. We had to book through the concierge and then go back to reception to pay? And when there are queues this can be very frustrating when all we wanted was a cab. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for our cab to turn up. The beach was great with lovely blue seas. The food overall throughout the different places to eat in the hotel was amazing. We really enjoyed the choices we had each day to go and eat! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this resort.

Wow the service we received here at Mitsis blue domes from Lola in the buffet and the day bar guys was really great. Made our holiday so much more enjoyable You are very lucky Mitsis to have these amazing people work for you. Nothing is too much trouble for these fantastic team members. Thank you so much 😊

Great hotel and very clean. Food is excellent and nice to have other restaurants to try however difficult to get in! But if you get the app you can book them in advance of your stay but we didn’t know that! Asian restaurant very good. Would like to make a special mention to the fitness team Katerina for Pilates and Janus for aqua gym! Apologies if I have spelt wrongly! Really enjoyed our stay and wished we had booked for longer! Will definitely return!

Booked for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Warm welcome and happy with our room and the location of the garden bungalow. The room itself couldn’t have been nicer. The complex also is absolutely gorgeous. Very clean with 5* facilities. That however is where the 5* ended. Service was very poor in most areas. Many staff looked like they didn’t want to be there as they were so busy as they were short staffed. Maria at the garden pool had no help in the entire week that we were there. She was left to serve the whole area alone. She often ran out of glasses as she had no time to collect them to wash. Despite this, she was the friendliest and most helpful member of the whole team. The main buffet area was poor for all meals. Basic selection, mainly luke warm and the freshly cooked meat grill always had a queue as the staff weren’t efficient enough. If you went later in service there were no desserts left. The table service was also very slow. We only tried the Italian and South American a la carte restaurants. They were very basic and the service at Italian was very slow as they didn’t have enough staff. You will see lots of reviews for the brunch as there was a lady literally begging for a review. It was nice but she literally decided what we wanted for us. I have to say the crepe and waffle guys were great and they stayed open until after 11pm thankfully. Gyros and burgers were good but the queues were so long! Vitamin bar with fresh fruit was nice also. Very limited premium drinks, lots of people asking for baileys to be told they didn’t have any. Cocktails were good but it took so long to wait for them and when you got them they were full of ice. I hope the resort employs more staff as in peak season I would imagine the queues would be ridiculous.

5* ? Hotel rooms ,grounds , pools are 5* However the service has lots of room for improvement. No information about Hotel, restaurant or bars on check in. Had to ask for cutlery in main restaurant regularly . Refused service by chef in main restaurant as he was too busy making staff meals. Refused service at bar in evenings and told to return to my table and wait for a waiter ( I had only approached the bar as I had already waited 20 minutes) 5* should be reflected in the service received.
