1. Had 2 separate bookings and requested them to make it a back-to-back reservation so I have the same room throughout my stay. Had informed them prior to arrival (assured me it’s done), had to request and remind again upon check in (apparently wasn’t done). Came by the front desk to check on it a day before my 2nd booking (it wasn’t done yet again!). The next day, my key wasn’t working as it wasn’t programmed for my entire stay. They gave me a bogus reason that I need to check in again when I was assured everything was resolved on 3 occasions! 2. Requested for late check out and was told to check again on the eve of my departure. Checked on the eve of my departure, to only be rejected for late check out. Was repeatedly told to keep my luggage at 12pm when I was trying to reason with them. We know we can leave our luggage like any other hotel but didn’t want to. Hence, the late check out. The staff should be able to see the occupancy forecasts and manage my expectations upon check in and not disappoint me on a later day. 3. Shared my negative experience and after some empathetic requests (I didn’t want any monetary service recovery), was given an extra hour for late check out. They said that’s the best they can do. 4. Make sure to lock all your valuables in the safe. Housekeeping left my door ajar after make up room. I only found out when I returned at night! 5. Nice beach bar but basic cocktails. The minimum spent for a sofa/bed is ridiculously high. So visit other beach bars with better service and cocktails. 6. To all that’s reading this, don’t expect any empathy and assistance from this hotel. Don’t make any request! They can’t resolve them! I gave them 2 stars for the below. Positives: 1. Location is okay, quiet area with some stores and restaurants 2. Staff was friendly and pool is warm to dip 3. Breakfast acceptable.

Honestly my stay wasn't up to the mark at all considering what others have reviewed on trip advisor, they didn't have bell boys to take luggage, and the way to your room is a rocky surface make sure u don't have heavy luggage if ur planning to book here cause they expect us to carry all the luggage you have to your room, the whole resort felt understaffed as they only do cleaning ever 2 days which was weird , the restaurant is only good for Italian food and is a bad option for vegetarians. Now to the rooms, we booked the most premium room they had and i shall upload some images which might help you understand what it looks like. There won't be hot water if ur planning to have a hot comforting shower and also the shower is 6ft soo If your plus 6 ft you won't be able to have a peaceful shower also as u will have to bend to bathe with cold water. The rooms in general are dark and timid if you choose to have some privacy, as they have 2 huge clear glass door / window up front which accounts for 90% of the rooms light but people walking pass can easily see and look at your which was another weird thing to have if your planning to have a peaceful stay here, the wash basin is also placed outside in your room and not in the washroom for some reason💀 the keys they give you to your room are also the most weird way to entering a room in 2022 as it's a key which goes 4 ways in but only opens one way it's frustrating way to enter your room. The only reason to choose this hotel is to be near central Samui and a beach front, the pool is also ideal for kids only as one stroke and i was at the end of the pool 😂. I hope this helps certain travellers.

Very polite and helpful staff) This place is very suitable for couples to go to bars and clubs + beach, by the way, performances/party can be performed on the beach at night, within walking distance. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, there are various blacksmith shops for every taste) Unfortunately, the photos taken from the hotel, no, but very clean) I took a picture on the beach) You can also rent a bicycle , There are rental services nearby) and can travel around the island) convenient

Great place for most people romantic meal with entertainment or a later night party! I came with my partner we’re in the 35+ age range and we enjoyed a reasonably priced tasty meal, watched the fire show which I believe is every evening at 8pm. It was a cool addition to the evening and was good entertainment. We left around 9 as it was wrapping up. Would definitely go again. The bear bar area is cool vibes. A bit Ibiza beach club vibe, trendy lights and tunes but not too bold or in your face. You have a romantic dinner. If you want to stay on and party and be wild I’m certain that’s a an option but it’s not my partners thing so we left. All staff were friendly and we were overall very happy

I booked 3 rooms at this hotel which is a little confusing as it seems to have 2 names? At Samui Boutique Hotel and Behind the Scenes Hotel. Please do not get fooled as this is the same hotel yet they charge different prices for the same room. I arrived a day earlier than my friends and immediately I could tell the Air Con was not working properly. I spoke to 2 different people and they said they would have a look at it. That is exactly what they did. Stood and looked at it. The staff were friendly but lacked the ability to resolve problems. I asked If I could move as it was to warm in my room they said the hotel was full. We asked about fridges and they said they would arrange them. After 3 days myself and another friend gave up. Upon arrival they said to one of my friends would you like an upgrade to a bigger room. Stupidly he said yes and paid another 1500 baht and he was put in a room no much bigger than mine and they found a fridge for him immediately?? Turns out as the hotel was full!! This was his room anyway and basically paid 1500 baht to have a fridge. So if you are offered something upon arrival ask to see both options before paying! The rooms are adequate but the lighting is terrible! Why is there no light above the mirror? Impossible to see and do anything it was like being in a cave. Couldn't shave properly and my girlfriend struggled to see, to do her make up. The doors also need a good seeing to! Put dampeners on them so they do not slam. I have never known a hotel to be so noisy with doors constantly slamming like a lorry just hit the building. Most ridiculous thing was the cleaning lady! She was in and out of rooms like a yoyo taking great pleasure of waking everyone by slamming the doors. As said staff were friendly, adequate, good location but annoying they have not agreed proper access to the beach via AL'S resort as after 4 days, we was refused access and had to walk far for the rest of the holiday. Sort out doors, lighting and air con! Especially when paying customers ask!
