Chaweng Noi Koh Samui|0.36km from Lad Koh View Point
Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

The Sheraton Samui Resort is an absolute gem. Set amidst a vast, green landscape, it's a paradise for those who love to explore, and if you'd rather ride, the buggies are just a call away. The breakfasts were a hit – a scrumptious spread of European and local dishes that got us started for the day. Our room was not just comfortable, but it also boasted a stylish bathtub on the terrace and a fabulous view. For the kids, the resort was an endless adventure. Between the awesome camp set in the room and the kid's room filled with activities (our son particularly enjoyed the crafts), they were in seventh heaven. We loved the cool stone pool and the variety of beachside activities – from kayaking to stand-up paddle boarding, all available free of charge. And if you're into some friendly competition, there's a ping-pong table too. With two pools to choose from, one lively and family-friendly and the other more tranquil, there's something for everyone. And the beachside bar and restaurant? A great spot for some downtime. Being close to Central Samui and other attractions was just the cherry on top. Highly recommended!

Some rooms needs to be updated and a deep cleaned (It’s not Dirty, it’s just that it has build-up Grime). Our shower didn’t have running warm water…Can’t complain too much since Koh Samui is 78°F to 91°F all year round. They also got really good food for Lunch and Dinner. I absolutely love it. :D I’m a fan of Tom Yum. Their Tom Yum is really good. For my Westerner Friends, Tolerate the Lack of Western Food and try Thai Food since you’re in Thailand and not your Country of Origin.

The drainage of shower was partially blocked, need few hours to be drained. Safety Box did not work, need to bring own property along. Breakfast is to take order by yourself, not wasting of food. No 7-11 nearby, need to walk to12 minutes on the highway. TV was with no signals, wifi was ok. The electrical socket is not situated by bedside to charge mobile phone, not so convenient. If you want to have a silent holiday, it will be suitable. Also the hotel no need to pay for the deposit, it is rarely happens among hotels in Thailand, other hotels should learned about this policy.

Affordable price, sweet location and vibes. The whole resort is “hidden” in trees, quite wild. Only thing they gave me a room with sh1t view, on the back of another block, but not too important as I go back just for sleep. Interior lil bit old, specially bathroom, but overall standard quite good. I never woke up in time for breakfast so I can’t tell ya how it taste but everything on the island tasted good I bet they too.

The location of the hotel is very good, the beach is fine, but I am curious, why this hotel does not have a high score, maybe because of the old hotel, but I still like the Thai style of the room, of course, if the equipment is updated , that's better, after all, the flaw is that the air conditioner is a bit old, and the sound is slightly loud, but it doesn't affect the overall experience. The most important thing is that the service is very good. The child wants to eat porridge for breakfast. I told the waiter and made it for the child right away. The hotel staff are very kind. The breakfast is more European and American. Overall, I still like this hotel very much.
