Hotels in Bo Put, Koh Samui

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

The hotel , like many , is no longer a new Thai troika : a little scratched interior, a mediocre cleaning (blacked balcony door, shower cabin); rather scarce and uniform breakfast (which is not very typical); Problems with hot water (it is just warm, it was only a few times hot). 90% of the guests are tourists from Russia. In addition, the spacious rooms, no deposit, friendly staff, convenient location (to the center in a hurry step of 15-20), a warm pool with clean water. The problem with beach towels, judging by previous reviews, decided : now their sufficient number and they are new (on the labels is the date of issue 01.20). Baik rented near the hotel, left a deposit of 100 dollars. No problem with return. If you are swimming in Chavenge, I would recommend going to the beach not through the nearby hotel, but through the main entrance (out of the hotel and left 300 meters). But on the beach (in February) there were tangible waves and a little pulled into the sea. Therefore, with children, I think, it is better to consider another area. Also, if you don 't want to rent a bike, between the beaches are riding songeo (as I realized, before sunset as public transport, after sunset as taxi), once went to the beach of Boput, gave for two 140 bucks.

We stayed here for 6 nights. in January 2023. Staff were friendly, respectful, accommodating & wanted to make our stay wonderful. Special thanks to a lady who ensured our room was really special and cleaned. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and an old man was there, paying attention to all the guests. The hotel in ideally located right on a road opposite of Chaweng Noi beach that is very quiet and amazing place to suntan and relax. A seven eleven is near by the Hotel just 10 min walk. it is 100 Baht to take into the town center by tuk tuk. We rent a motorbike from the hotel which was brand new and we did not need to pay for a taxi anymore. The hotel restaurant offers a variety of foods & overlooks a nice pool with lovely setting. I would definitely come back here & would recommend it without hesitation. Thank you Chaweng Noi Pool Villa for an amazing holiday.

We had a beach bungalow (737) and it was absolutely amazing, it was right on the beach front a few steps away from the sand, bed was comfy the tv was good and the air con was efficient and kept us cool of a night time. You can just sit on the terrace and stare out onto the gorgeous beach with crystal clear water. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and really went above and beyond for my 21st birthday and done the room up and made me a cake. They was very friendly and polite and always made an effort to speak to you as you passed them. The food was good especially for free. The location was very good as you had the peace and quiet of an essentially private beach in a quiet area but down the road a 400 baht return taxi ride away was chaweng (central samui) which was very lively and had a lot of resteraunts and bars. Overall a faultless stay and I’d recommend this hotel to anybody.

Mid March, strong winds, strong waves, red flag, can’t swim on Chaweng beach. Last year September Chaweng beach water was so calm and flat, so beautiful, picture perfect, best beach in Koh Samui, but in March, not swimmable. But we found no wind, no waves at Choengmon beach! Ozo, excellent breakfast, nice pool, right on beach. Good sunbeds, clean. if you can get one. There is Ozo rule: one towel per person, no saving sunbed, no outside food or drink. We were shocked by these rules. Good for management, but for guests, not feel so good. We never stayed in a hotel in Thailand with such rules. The biggest negative is it is very noisy at night, up to 3 am, many guest noises and can hear next door toilet flushes, and strange scuffling sound at night behind the walls. The bed is very comfortable but we could not sleep because of the sounds. Finally, the room is just too small, for two people. Balcony so small. We stayed one week, then moved to another hotel in Choengmon beach. We will not stay here again. Didn’t have any memorable experience with the staff. The staff were just staff, not friendly, no smiles. Disappointed.

We stayed at this newly built hotel for 5 Nights in October 22 which is usually OFF season (instead of offering for free upgrade they asked us 300 Thai bath for an upgrade). the hotel is extremely beautiful, but location is not good, even for 7/11 Shop you need to walk for 15 min up and down hill. there is no restaurant for dinner outside the hotel. No free shuttle to main shopping area (Central Sumai). rooms are nice and clean (no coffee creamer though they send you COLD milk in your room). there are few areas that need to be improved. House keeping is average. All the staff is very polite and helpful. we had free buffet breakfast which was bellow Average. our stay was long 5 Nights and during our stay we never ever had HOT tea or COFFEE. it always took at least 15 minutes for them to serve you coffee. Breakfast scene is pretty chaotic . pools are very very nice and clean, they have very small private beach. but the view from each room specially the lobby is to die for. overall i will still give it 8/10

some of the greatest horseplay of all time, pouring sensational pints by the pool, the lads really enjoyed it and 100% will be going again, the local rugby teams have nothing on the rock, come on lads 💙🤍

I read many reviews about this resort and studied the Mantra Samui website, but never learned until after I booked (4 nights stay) my room that they had cancelled , during Covid, the regular shuttle that took guests down the hill to Fisherman Villa. I learned this because I called the hotel before my trip to ask some questions and also ask how to reserve a place on their shuttle. The resort does have one auto/driver that will drive you down to the bottom of the hill if it is there, and if it is not picking up someone at the airport. The shuttle delivers you directly to the bottom of the hill, is pretty much is just a local road. Then you can wave down a taxi and negotiate the price. Some fun! The Mantra Sumai should update their website to say the regular shuttle has been cancelled, and replaced by their maybe available one car. Continuing my story... We booked a massage at another hotel that is about 20 minutes away, and gave ourselves one hour to get there. So the night before we reserved to get the ride down to the bottom of the hill for the next day afternoon. When we went to reception, we were informed there was an accident, which was a flat tire, and the tire 'might' be fixed in half an hour and then another 20 minutes to get back to the Mantra. They apparently felt no responsibility to contact us. Just wait for the guests to show up and then tell them. They felt no responsibility to call the driver for any update. They then offered to call a taxi, but that would take about 20 minutes to arrive. Also when you call a taxi there is no opportunity for negotiation. My hour was dwindling. Well 20 is better than maybe 30 + 20 minutes. So they called the taxi. Luckily the Mantra driver showed up after 15 minutes, and the taxi was cancelled. My conclusion, after all the interfaces with reception, is they have a poor sense of responsibility and lacking the ability for logical thinking to provide a good guest experience. There are other examples beyond the above. Our suite room was in good condition, and everything functioning. Well, except the phone did not work, but I did not need that. The suite has a king size bed and a separate built in bed in the back of the living room. OK, so 4 people can stay. But the flaw in the suites is there is only a 2 person love seat to sit on. There is no chair, and no desk. It is no fun to use your laptop when the coffee table level is below your knees. A simple 4 leg table for a desk, and a simple chair would be nice, and not cost very much. They do have an on-site co-work room somewhere, but I did not use it. I think it is an extra cost and I did not have that much work to do anyway. The highlight of the Mantra Samui was the included breakfast. There are many cooked to order choices plus a buffet of juices, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and several breads you can toast yourself. The hotel is not expensive, the location is good, located near the center and the market, the room is spacious, has a bathtub, and across the street there is a park. Next to the lake At night, go out for a walk, the lights are very bright. The atmosphere is very good.

Traveling on the island of Samui in Thailand, they stayed at Samui First House 3* on the beach of Chaveng Noi, on the eastern side of the island in March 2020. The hotel is a three-star hotel, old, no territory but wins everything because of the location! On the first line at the beginning of the beach. Always enough chedrons with umbrellas Just opposite in the water there are huge walnuts that play the role of the waves. The poet swim is very comfortable. Beside them you can take snorkeling, look at fish. The beach is big. It is nice to walk along the sand along the sea. The sea is warm, transparent turquoise water. Living in a deluxe on the second floor with a view to the sea. The room is good, there is everything you need, even an extra bed. The bathroom is a shower bath. There is a swimming pool. The restaurant serves a Swedish table for breakfast, Choice is small but you will not stay hungry. There is infrastructure near the hotel. Cafe, Family Mart, spa salons. To the center of Chavenga you can leave on a tuck-tuck for 20 b. A small hotel with the best location. Nearby are 4.5* hotels that are not different. Why overpay? I recommend it to everyone.
