The Killarney Park

This special hotel exemplifies all the wonder and beauty of Irish hospitality. From the moment we pulled up outside the front we were greeted by concierge who took our car off our hands, offered to charge it and look after our bags. We were then greeted like long lost family at reception by Norma and Ciaran who made the check in process a seamless experience. Norma then happens to mention she’s upgraded us to the Muckross Suite, the best room in the hotel. We felt very special and incredibly welcome. Ciaran proceeded to show us around, took us to our room, and left us feeling especially grateful. My wife, in particular, was most touched by the size of the room with its own large lounge and kitchen together with a separate other bedroom and ensuite. Incredible. We ate at Peregrine on the first night and were wowed by both the food and service. I’ll separately review it. But I will mention Agatha, one of our waitresses, who was especially warm, efficient and generous. We also enjoyed breakfast in Peregrine each morning. It’s a full table service with a menu that has plenty of flexibility. Each of our breakfasts were lovely but we’d mention the scrambled egg (cooked superbly) and the French toast that toasted more like a donut and who doesn’t like a donut! Carol served us most mornings and exemplified the warm customer service that we’d come to appreciate. We had a game on the full sized billiards table and were joined by some America guests and the 6 of us had much fun attempting to sink the balls while getting to know each other. The hotel also has a lovely library which is quiet and draws bookish types like myself into its liminal wonder. Check out was similar efficient and friendly. We left Killarney Park wonderfully refreshed hoping that one day we will return and knowing it will always feature highly on our ‘best hotels’ list.

Living here in Killarney we are always trying new places for lunch and dinner. Today we went to the Garden Room at The Killarney Park hotel. The menu was refreshing in that it was different than most of the local restaurants with choices not found in most places. The atmosphere was pleasant with a jazz feel to it. The food was reasonably priced and deliciously prepared. Lastly, our server Margot was attentive, very friendly and absolutely made the experience.

My family and I recently spent two nights at The Killarney Park. It was spectacular - a perfect place to use as a base for our time in the area. Our room was recently renovated, and every detail was amazing. The murals on the wall were particularly spectacular. The breakfast both mornings was so yummy - the wait staff attended to our every request. Lee from the concierge desk gave us wonderful instructions for our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Ciarán was a lovely host. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a bike ride through Killarney to Ross Castle, on the bikes provided by the hotel.

Location, service, bar, rooms, restaurant, you name it...spectacular in every way. It is centrally located so you can walk everywhere. Safe with doormen hopping to your beck and call. Reception people were lovely and the bartenders were engaging. The rooms are romantic and comfy. You will never regret spending the money to stay in this luxurious experience

The Killarney Park is a beautiful hotel with luxury accommodations and friendly staff. We made great memories in Killarney thanks to the help of PC, the charming concierge with Irish charm and humor. We would highly recommend Kilarney Park Hotel to our friends and family.

We recently traveled to Killarney on a family vacation and one of the real delights of the trip was our fabulous stay at Killarney Park. From our initial booking through check in and even departure, we were very impressed with the whole experience. We booked three rooms, two adjoining, and were traveling as a family of four and my sister on a much anticipated family trip to Ireland. This beautiful hotel was in the perfect location and we were very pleased with the cleanliness, convenience and comfort of all of our rooms. Norma at the front desk was simply lovely and made us feel immediately welcomed and at home. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to a return trip to this ideal location, with its comfy and elegant rooms, and delightful staff!

We had a wonderful stay at the Killarney park. Service was outstanding, even towards our young children. The location cannot be beat - walking distance to everything. Rooms were spacious and there were so many little extras during our stay. Highly recommend! It was a great base for Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula

Killarney Park Hotel is our home away from home, without the stress of home!! This is our absolute favorite hotel in Ireland! We have stayed here twice and plan on visiting again! Killarney Park is both eloquent and inviting! It was great to see staff from our past stay and new staff, alike! Staff members are so accommodating and extremely helpful. Killarney town is a step away. On the go, our only regret was that we didn’t spend even more time in the hotel. The rooms are nicely appointed and immaculate! The lobby and sitting rooms are beautiful. After a night out, we returned to the hotel and sat by the fireplace and had tea and cookies. It was past the time to order, but the waiter brought it to us in the sitting room and went out of his way to accommodate us! It was relaxing and delightful! I can’t say enough about Killarney Park, truly an exceptional stay!!!! Highly recommended to anyone visiting Killarney!!

Fabulous place to stay - used it as an elegant base for four days of journeying around the area in Ireland. Excellent, customer service focused staff determined to make our stay as lovely as possible. Worth every euro! The garden surrounding the hotel was a bonus, as was the outdoor seating area. The bar was glorious - and food inside delicious! Really appreciated the warmth of the team at Killarney Park!
