X10 Khaolak Resort Reviews

Perfect family hotel! We travelled here with our toddler for 2 weeks. The hotel catered for everything we could possibly need. The splash park was great and kept our son entertained for hours. Everything was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was great! Always a high chair available and lots of options. We spent our evenings out trying local restaurants in khaolak the whole area was just perfect and very family friendly. It's just been such an amazing holiday. Thank you X10!

This was our fourth time in Thailand but first time in Khaolak. This hotel has been brilliant. On arrival in our room, we were met with a bed that had been decorated to wish us a happy anniversary. The room was large and very modern and clean. Although we were above table tennis tables and over looking the kids pool, we found it to be an ideal spot and very quiet. What makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They are amazing! Kataii, Lily, Mr White to name but a few ALWAYS go over and above to make sure you have a good holiday. Every morning at breakfast you are met with smiles off everyone. We were only bed and breakfast, but the food in this hotel is amazing. There is something for everyone and there is no reason why anyone should go hungry. Food at the pool bar and seaside restaurant is also excellent and value for money. The hotel is kept immaculately clean and every night you are given an orchid and sweets in your room. I was very impressed with the sun beds not being able to be reserved before 0800 and saw staff taking pictures of those that did try and reserve. I was so impressed with the X10 that we are hoping to come back next year with friends. If I was to have any complaints, it would be that there needs to be stronger enforcement of no under 16's in the adult only pool, however, this didn't deter from what was an amazing holiday. From the cleaners to reception staff and bar staff, this hotel is exceptional.

Excellent two weeks holiday in Khao Lak X10 Resort!! The staff paid sincere attention to our 4 year old son, it was really nice. Kids Club service and staff deserve special thanks. Restaurants was clean and staff friendly. In the main restauran were also separately cooled area, what was really comfortable. Special thanks to beach bar and main restaurant staff, Lily and Kwan! Rooms was comfortable and cleaning working very well. Total for seven swimming pools in the area was enough able for us. I really recommend this resort for families!

Ms. Gift and her team are really very nice and very attentive. The white wine was always very tasty and we felt very well served. The entire service was always friendly and always had a smile on their face. We also particularly noticed the pool service, which brings drinks at the touch of a button. The grounds are also really well maintained and someone looks after the plants every day.

Lovely hotel, only thing let's it down no control of the kids using adult only pool.beach towels daily suberb breakfast, beach clean but can be a bit awkward get in and out of sea friendly staff always smiling. Clean room lovely shower with accessories

It was a beautiful vacation in the X10 in Khao Lak. It was our third time Here and definitely not the last one. Our service Lady (Gift) was always very kind and courteous. In general the whole staff and also the manager lady Saw were fabulous. We love it here and would definitely recommend coming here !

The hotel is perfect. The restaurant is awesome. Honourables mentions to Juny, Gift, Nu, Saw who are very nice waiter. The pools are very good. The acess te the sea is really simple. The atmosphere of the hotel is chill and relaxing. The staff is very kind and profesionnal.

I had a very comfortable stay. Thank you! The breakfast menu was extensive and enjoyed by everyone from children to adults. There are several pools, and it's nice that there are separate areas for children and adults. The room was also very comfortable. Maybe there'll be a little noise.

This place is second to none! Right from setting foot in the reception to leaving to come home, nothing is too much trouble, cleanliness, hospitality, staff , pools etc everything was spectacular Katai, Benz and lily were great nothing to complain about at all, If I had to give any criticism it would be , it could do with a few more chairs around the bars to dig in the evening Phil

We had a great 6n stay at the X10 - family of 4. We booked interconnecting rooms - which were extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is excellent. Staff are friendly. We stayed in four hotels during our time in Thailand, and the breakfast at the X10 was the best we had. We had a few evening meals at the hotel which were also good, and reasonably priced. Location by the beach is lovely - although the sea was too rough for swimming during most of our stay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The pools are lovely and the mature garden setting gives welcome shade. The large pool closest to the sea front is adults only, which we felt was a shame. This was the best pool in our view and it was a shame families couldn’t enjoy it. Some nice little touches like free tea and coffee 24/7, and popcorn for the kids on the afternoon. We had treatments at the spa which were good, but we found the spa environment to be very clinical. Appreciate this is a modern hotel, but it’s a shame the spa doesn’t offer a more authentic Thai experience. The other reason for dropping a star….is the use of single use plastics across the resort. The hotel needs to do something about this. There is no reason for the shop to give out plastic bags, and for juices ordered on room service to be in single use plastic cups.

The hotel is clean and modern. The staff are helpful and friendly. Lots of different pools, with one especially for adults. We found the pool next to the kids club the quietest. The restaurants serve delicious meals that cater for everyone’s tastes. This works well for us as we love Thai food and our daughter is a very picky eater. The beach is wonderful and it is easy to walk into town if you want to. I recommend a visit to the beach by the Alive Market, if you want a change of scene. If you don’t want to walk then the hotel have a shuttle service. The spa is such a wonderful addition- we had the after sun massage and it was refreshing and relaxing.

We have had a wonderful holiday here at X10. The location is excellent, the pools have been fantastic, our room was generous and well appointed. The best thing about X10 is the staff, absolutely everyone has been kind, welcoming and generous with their smiles. My family and I have had such a great time and would recommend the hotel in a heartbeat.

We stayed at the X10 Resort and it is a lovely family resort. The pools are fantastic and nicely situated on the beach. The rooms are spotless, and cleaned daily to a very high standard. The breakfast buffet is amazing but it got sooo busy around 9am so much better to go early and when its not so crowded. We were invited to a lovely cocktail party at the hotel and were greeted by friendly staff. Cocktails and canapes were amazing. The staff very kindly arranged for a birthday cake for my daughter who had turned 8 that weekend. Hans at concierge was fantastic and very helpful in helping organise a trip to Surin island. Great hotel and highly recommend. The only thing I would say is at the adult pool, there were kids in the pool and this needs to be managed more efficiently.

The hotel is in a really good location, right near the beach, and it's a short walk to the city center. The breakfast is fantastic and the rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly and the places are kept clean. Getting around is also made easier by the hotel offering rides to local markets, the city center, etc.
