The hotel is located in the centre of the Thamel, down a quiet alleyway but in walking distance to everything....
The room was comfortable and spacious, the ac worked well, and the hot water pressure was decent. WiFi was of good speed as well...
Breakfast was basic but nice...
Service, above everything, was very personal and attentive. They constantly hovered over us to check everything is OK...

Nice quaint place but sturdy with an enthusiastic owner who engages his guests in conversation. Only complaint I has was that my fridge was not working. The breakfast had good variety and was satisfying.

The staff are very kind!
There are many clubs in the area, so it can get quite lively at times, but once you enter the hotel you can relax.
The male manager speaks Japanese and helped us plan our trip. Since our return flight was late at night, he also accommodated our late check-out.
The other staff members also always spoke to us, making this a homely and memorable stay!

Best in Thamel I stayed at Kasthamandap boutique hotel for 5 nights based on a friend's recommendation,and I have to say it truly lived up to the praise.located in the heart of thamel,kathmandu,this hotel exceeded my expectations for the price paid.the boss was incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of his way to ensure our was comfortable and memorable.he even helped us organize a trip to pokhara at a discounted rate, which was a fantastic bonus.overall,this hotel is jem in thamel,offering top-notch service and value for money I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kathmandu
