Very nice european style hotel, beautiful design, great service. The set dinner and japanese breakfast are very tasty too. i have a great time with my boyfriend.

Location is a 15-min walk from the JR station. Within walking distance from shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean an tidy, the bathroom is bigger than others I had in Japan. Overall good experience with the price that I paid.

The hotel can provide pick-up and drop-off, which we didn't know until the day we left. The waiter asked us if we needed to be sent to the station. I guess you can call the hotel and ask them to pick you up when you get to the Shinkansen station. If you are walking, walk south for 13 minutes after exiting the Shinkansen station and turn right for 2 minutes to reach the hotel. The hotel is in a forest, and there is a church next to it. The scenery nearby is very good, and there are three choices for breakfast. Very close to the old Karuizawa sightseeing and dining street. The hotel is a bit old, but the service is still very good.

The hotel is located in old Karuizawa, one stop away from Karuizawa, and the hotel has a free shuttle bus. The overall French style is surrounded by lush trees and a small church. The environment is good. There are three options for breakfast: Japanese, Continental and American. The various breads are delicious and there are fresh vegetable salads (rare). The rest are not very impressive. The room facilities are relatively old, and there is a leak in the bathroom. The strangest thing is that there is no serious quilt, only a layer of something similar to a bed cover, and a layer of sheets below. The bed cover does not seem to be changed, only the sheets are changed, which is very nondescript. The room had a rather musty smell and overall the price/performance ratio was not high.
