Family-friendly Hotels in Jinghong

An exotic feeling hotel, with some beautiful spaces to take pictures (which seems to be the main activity - sadly - for travellers in Xishuangbanna). I stayed here for 4 nights, check-in was fairly smooth, although a cheeky comment about whether the gym was part of my normal routine or not, was not hugely appreciated. A very large hotel, quite dated, but with spacious rooms. My room had a comfortable large bed, a huge bath (the plug didn't work - but they did fix this promptly) and a lovely balcony area. Unfortunately, there were so many palm trees outside of my room it blocked a lot of the natural light, so the room was always quite dark - 21st century problems 🤣 I loved how the aircon automatically turned off when the doors opened - helping the environment 😊 I did not have breakfast any day as I was up and out early, and with limited vegetarian options I ate only once in their Chinese restaurant - where the chef prepared a special meal for my dietary requirements. The bar area, well, wasn't a bar, but the lobby lounge was a wonderful space and their iced coffee was a real treat each day! The children's pool was closed for maintenance but the indoor pool was available. Location was good, I was able to travel to everywhere quite simply using DiDi (although they will not take people to the Botanical Gardens). A particular thank you to Lee, who offered excellent help in English when I was unable to get any transport. Overall, I would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring Xishuangbanna 🌴 ☀️

The hotel's hardware originally received negative reviews, so five stars were given to the hotel's waiter. There was a young lady at the front desk who had a bad attitude. The shower room was full of water and there was a problem with the floor drain. There was a male waiter who was very proactive in cleaning, changed the room, and even gave me fruit to apologize. She had a very good attitude. I was also responsible for picking up and dropping off the night market. The service was excellent. But the hotel was too small, so I changed hotels after staying for one day.

This is the happiest hotel I have stayed in in Banna. The environment is very good. There is a master pick-up and drop-off when I go to the Shwedagon Pagoda. There is also a Thai restaurant downstairs. The hotel also gave us a dish. The environment is beautiful. There is also a swimming pool inside, and guests can swim for free. It is very convenient for us to go around. Quiet sleep at night. The lady at the front desk is also very gentle and patiently explained the surrounding tourism to us. Must have a five star rating.

Very huge hotel, well located on the left bank of the Mekong, therefore away from the city center and its infernal traffic. The place is calm especially in the evening and in the morning, which is essential for a good night's rest. The rooms are large, clean and offer all the amenities and services one would expect in a hotel like this. Small regret: no USB socket in the rooms ...... The service at the reception is impeccable, some staff speak a little English. The breakfast is huge, chinese and international, you will find there all what you like. Ample parking in the basement, free for hotel guests. The hotel is located at only 300 meters from great golden pagoda and most interesting at the same distance from Gaozhuang night market, which is a must see in Jinghong, dont miss it. The hotel also offers an exhibition of ancient local crafts, well documented and really interesting ( from Yunnan museum)

This inn is very close to Xingguang Night Market, and there are many restaurants around. The reservation is from the 20th to the 23rd, because the itinerary changed a little and continued to stay for 3 nights. The boss is very kind and enthusiastic... By the way, there is also a pick-up service.

The hotel's breakfast is okay. The facilities in the hotel are relatively old, and I sleep in Building C at night. There is a little noise. The hotel, the room allocated at night can see Haozhuang. It is not very far from the riverside night market. It is a long walk to Haozhuang , if there is a shared battery car, it is quite fast.

The room upgrade overlooking the temple was such a nice surprise! Location is perfect, you are in the area where everything is going on and was very nice to walk around the neighbourhood. Beautiful view from the 7th floor restaurant. Amazing gym, the pool is nice but they had these kids swimming classes and wasn’t relaxing to be honest. Breakfast, not great and would suggest not even including it in the room price but the facilities and location made it worth it! Would stay here again for the same room view for sure!

Great location with lots of food options in the neighborhood a short drive away or a bike ride away. The resort area comprises of Pullman, crowne plaza and Wanda. So if u prefer to eat in one of these hotels that’s an option but much more pocket friendly options in the area too outside of this hotel area but close by. Rooms are comfortable. An outdoor and indoor pool are available but the indoor one water is too cold and needs to be regulated. The steam and sauna are not always on so if u are the first one to use like in my case then u have to wait till it heats up and gets fully operational. Steam worked great but sauna not so good. Jacuzzi was busted and non-operational. Don’t forget to get ur swimming caps as even though outdoor pool one is not required but if it rains u must go to the indoor one as per hotel rules and for indoor u need a cap and to buy one at site is very expensive. The check in desk person Jacky Chen was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in process. Eva he at the breakfast buffet was also very kind and friendly and all the staff generally were good. However the staff at the front entrance gate need to be trained better to talk to customers like they normally should to customers but I felt they were very rude although it was not there intention to be rude. They just need better training. Parking is not allowed around the entrance circle but many people are allowed to park and is not consistent. If they allow one car to park then they should allow all. Local cars should not get preference. Even the help staff at the breakfast should be trained a little more to serve customers as it was quite chaotic. Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements required as highlighted above.

Because the plane was late and arrived late that night, the boss waited at the airport for an hour before we arrived at the store. Because the children we brought specially changed the parent-child room for us, it was so considerate. Every day, the hotel pick-up car is also available for shopping nearby. Call us and tell us where is fun and which is delicious. Very worry-free. The balcony of the hotel can directly see the Lancang River and the Starlight Night Market. The location is very good. I sincerely recommend staying here! Finally checked out, the front desk also sent a bag of flower cakes, full of details

The boss is super enthusiastic and the explanation is in place. Airport pick-up service is also provided. Make an appointment one day in advance, and the driver will contact the pick-up station. The most attractive thing about the hotel is the swimming pool, which has a cute shape and a water level of 1.4-1.7 suitable for adults and children. There is also a children's pool for small children. There are also a lot of swimming rings. Children like yellow ducks. As soon as they arrive at the inn, they are in the pool. The best thing about the room is that it has a balcony, where you can cool your clothes, play with your children, chat with your husband here at night, have a small world of two, and overlook the swimming pool. The disadvantage is that the bathroom facilities are too simple and old, which reduces the overall feeling.
