The surrounding area has all the amenities you could need. It's very close to the scenic spots, diagonally opposite Baotu Spring and Wulongtan, and also very near Daming Lake. You can see Daming Lake, Wulongtan, or Baotu Spring right from your window. Dining and getting around are very convenient. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay, and I highly recommend it!
