The property is 3-star, and that is what should be expected. Entering, it seems really nice and small. Once you receive your key, you realize you may be housed in the separate facility behind the main building. They look like efficiency apartments with external access to the rooms. The building is older, but it looks scary by the horrible carpeting and sitting, mosquito-infested plant water in the greenery that decorate the 3 floors. There is a small pool and a nice area with a fire pit. When you walk in the room, it is much better than expected. It was clean, fairly updated, and extremely quiet. The bathroom is spacious and you have an iron, microwave, and small fridge. We were comfortable and it was an affordable stay that fit the need of the visit. There was also an available business center for printing when I needed it.

Our room was updated and it was clean. The bathroom was spacious and had many towels and lobby itself was nice. That being said, we stayed in one of the courtyard rooms and the carpet along the walkway to our room was dirty and the lighting around the rooms wasn't good. Our room was tucked into a dark dingy corner, not nice and somewhat scary. The area right around the hotel is very average. I would not stay in this hotel on our next trip to New Orleans.

Before booking I called the hotel and spoke with the manager Greg to make sure they had cribs available as I have a 1 yr old who can not sleep on a bed because he flips and moves the whole night and it’s a safety risk. He assured me they did. I then booked and called again to confirm my booking AND the crib situation with Deja. Me and my husband were set to arrive at 1:30 am and the services “closes” at 11:30 pm. I called a THIRD TIME and spoke to Deja at 9:30pm and asked to make sure there is a crib in our room. She reassured me that the maitenence staff was literally putting one in as we speak and she even gave me our room number and gave me her word that when we arrive exhausted at 1:30 am after a 4.5 hour drive everything would be ready. When we arrived there was NO crib and I called the front desk where Farrah answered. She was SO INCOMPETENT AND RUDE. Telling me and my husband to calm down and telling us it’s not her problem because there was a staff change and all cribs are locked and she “doesn’t even know where the cribs are in the hotel”!!!!! I asked for a solution and she literally told me it’s not her problem and that the most she can do is BRING US A CRIB IN THE MORNING. Me and me husband stayed up until 5 am with the baby because he could sleep on the bed with no railings and we were so scared he’s gonna fall on the hard floor. At 5 am we put the blankets on the floor and slept on the freaking floor!! NEXY DAY- NO refund or partial refund was given just apology!

Everything was great for our first time staying there. I will say that on of staff in the breakfast area made the experience be average due to her attitude and rudeness as of she wasn’t having a good day.

Check in was quick and easy, receptionist was very polite. My room was on the first floor, so grateful about that, facing the courtyard. Comfortable bed, clean room and working tv with plenty of channels to choose from. I had a minor problem with my tub not draining water but after making the front desk aware of it maintenance was finishing up by the time I came back from breakfast. And breakfast was simple and delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was so unorganized… came in the room after check in to dirty towels… called down didn’t get towels… next morning went to front desk to request towels… 3 hours later I walked to the laundry room and asked the maids for two sets of towels and finally got them myself … I would not recommend d this place

I loved my stay here close to all the main attractions the room was very clean and big and the breakfast was really good! 10/10 stay

It was out of the madness of New Orleans Our only complaint was , we got to hotel at 8:30 am out flight was early I ask if they could clean out room first but it was after 3 before we got in room.
