Some serious issues: 1. The waterslide had a problem: electrical school in everyone who tried to use it. 2. No toilet paper and no water in most of the bathroom. 3. No soap to wash hands It was a Saturday, and it was relatively empty. It looks it was abandoned.

Other reviewers are right, this is a nigh**are excursion. 1. no beach, 2, the ride back to cartagena was like a death ride, people were literally playing as our boat smacked the water at high speed 3. the pool had some kind of disgusting substance in it 4. I was awakened by staff demanding a tip for the snorkling excursion which was literally the WORST snorkeling experience in my life. 5. The water was way too rough for snorkeling and there were no ladders to get back in the boat, and you were only given a mask, no snorkle, but you had to swim for your life out there. We had a couple senior citizens in our group who almost drowned. The whole thing just really really sucks.

The hotel stuff was very friendly and supportive when you asked them for help. The prices for the meals are in my opinion too high, not only because they serve the same thing every day, but also for a non fish eating person, it had a rare choice. In general it was OK, the rooms are big enough for 2 persons and well equipped. The sea color is really as it is on the pictures but little bit small. A big plus was that the hotel stuff drove me to my next hotel on Isla Baru for free, really appreciated that.

Absolutely worst experience. Rip Off. There was construction going on. Small contrived cement environment with nothing to do. Kids pool was dirty. Main pool was nice. No beach. Food included was mediocre. Staff constantly hustling to sell you stuff. Total waste of a day. Totally overpriced for what you get. We were so bored we asked to see the real island which was interesting. However very poor and dirty. Be prepared for a very rough ride back. The sea is rough in the afternoon. We were drenched within minutes. We travelled at high speed; assume it’s to stay above the waves. About 40 minutes of constant soaking by sea water. If you don’t like boats don’t go to Rosario. Find another company. This one is truly awful. We liked the guide in charge. Very professional

They have never lied to us as much as when they sold us this excursion. 1. They told us there was a beach, there isn't. Nor transparent waters. 2. That the trip consisted of a walk through the Rosario Islands, is not the case. It goes directly to Lizamar Island 3. The journey was 45 minutes, and it is 1 hour and a half, just double 4. The boat in the open sea had a capacity of 50 people and was totally precarious. It was going very fast. 5. They told us that on the Island there were very comfortable lounge chairs to rest on. Everything had to be paid extra, if you wanted a bed, a more private place, they asked up to 500,000 Colombians for the shade, there were not even umbrellas 6. They told us that there was a "buffet" lunch: a stale fried fish, with an appearance that no one would dare to eat, some dry, reheated chicken pieces, and some so-called "salads" that left a lot to be desired, without being exquisite with the food neither my husband nor I. 7. The only thing I enjoyed was the pool, it was clean, it's big and it has water jets to massage your shoulders. NOTHING THAT JUSTIFIES SPENDING 1 HOUR AND A HALF SAILING TO THE TUMBLES IN THE OPEN SEA AND NOT KNOWING ANYTHING. WE PAID 250,000 COLOMBIANS EACH FOR THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

I spent a whole weekend at Isla Lizamar. Even the journey there was an adventure, a very nice boat trip 🤩 Family-run hotel with friendly staff. The food is always a dream, thanks to the kitchen. Price/performance ratio is perfect. Clean rooms, simply great and the decor is a dream. You can take day trips to the nearby islands. Various water sports options. I can only recommend it to everyone.

From the first moment it was bad, they told us that the boat left at 8 am so we arrived at 7:45, when we arrived they told us that it left at 8:40 but in reality it left at 9:15, we waited a long time and they told us that they said that because people arrive late, but it was too hot and the baby was crying, when we arrived at the place, well the place is not much, taking into account that the beach was small, it should be clean but it was full of garbage, plastic bags, beer cans, the paint on the slide is very deteriorated. Administratively disorganized, it was not clear who you paid what, it gives the impression that everyone works independently, the one who takes the photo starts looking for you so you can pay him, the snorkeler too. I chose the snorkel tour and it was a little uncomfortable, we were only 3 people, and the guide was ahead and he didn't realize that I was lagging behind and had difficulty swimming. He told me that I was tired because I was overweight, so to protect myself I I held on to the life preserver the entire ride, then the diving man helped me realize that I was uncomfortable because I don't swim very well, what we got to eat at lunch was cold, they don't serve you, I asked if There were fresh water showers and they told me no, there are no places to change clothes. Anyway, I wouldn't go back. The aesthetics of that place urgently need to be improved.

I went to Cartagena at the pier and they offered me a transportation package including super lunch upon arrival. They also have family accommodation. I had a great vacation, perfect to get out of the routine and hustle and bustle.
