市役所が移転し周囲にそう高層ビルがあるわけではないが繁華街、町の中心である。 西隣のフクギは鳥居があるから御嶽ではなく神社、南にファミマがあって便利至極。スーパーホテルグループ４番目とかのホテルらしい。経営方針や設備更新の変化対応は大変だったろう。 現在グループの売りである温泉は無い。多分開店当時も八重山では家庭ではシャワーで、浴槽さえも普及していなかったので当然であっただろうか。 今回コロナ対応の最新対策は面倒で、申請が集中したのかうまくいかなかったが、ホテルでステイナビに申請してくれた。 海の眺望にこだわったりいろいろと時間経過を感じたりもするが、石垣島では気楽なホテルとして付き合えそうに思う。 周囲にはいろんな店舗などが存在するようだ。とりわけ出来た頃から知る「やっぱりステーキ」が近いのがいい。

Closer supermarket need about 20 mins walking distance. I was treated incredibly well by everyone, and the manager, Shingo, went above and beyond by introducing me to downtown Ishigaki and its locals. The staff member, Chinami, was equally exceptional, taking me out to the local bars and helping make lasting friends on the island. Before my visit, I viewed Ishigaki primarily as a natural paradise with outdoor activities, but soon realized that the island also boasts a vibrant nightlife with underground bars and clubs. I highly recommend Ishigaki and the Ishigaki Guesthouse Hive to young backpackers and adventurers seeking an authentic and enjoyable experience. Compared to my previous stay in Naha, Ishigaki outshines it in every aspect. I will definitely return to Ishigaki, there is so much more to explore and many friends I hope to see again.
