Ingleton Hostel

The wardens at this hostel are very friendly and welcoming. The self catering kitchen is well equiped, even had coffee 'plungers'. Stayed in a female dorm, plenty of storage space. 4 plug sockets for 6 beds, but there were other sockets available for charging in the hostel. Plenty of in the lounges for relaxing after a hard days walking. Wifi in the hostel worked fine. Received instructions a few days before the stay re parking and checking in. Ideally situated for doing Y3P walk if you have a car as it is approx 15mins to Ribblehead Viaduct and 22mins to Horton Close to Coop store for provisions and fabulous Bakery - Seasons Bakery in the village for gorgeous, cakes, coffee and savouries which opens from 7am!

Excellent location for our family. The staff were friendly and helpful. All the essentials we needed were available on site. Room was perfect for our stay. Would be great if there were some board games to play in the lounge, but we had a great time.

It is many many years since I stopped there but stayed on the night of Weds, 8th May 2024. The place has been modernised, lovely and clean, the warden was very welcoming, can't find anything wrong with it. The lounge is very comfortable too. Would certainly recommend it, it is very close to the town centre and amenities with a car park.

Stayed April 2024 to complete the Y3P . Nice clean place, staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. The rooms, toilets and showers were all clean . Happily stay there again although I’d take my own pillow.

Super friendly, clean, warm and welcoming. Showers hot and clean. Bedroom spotless. Stayed for 1 night. Ate out locally for tea, and bought a porridge pot for breakfast so didn't use the catering there. Would definitely go again. Everything is right on your doorstep!

Excellent Location. Lovely rooms plenty of showers and toilets. TV lounge and general lounge very cosy with lovely views. Right next to Ingleton Waterfalls trail which is a must. Would definitely come back. Also ideal to climb whernside.

I stayed here for 3 weeks, and I have never felt more at home in a place that isn't. The staff are wonderful. They're are always up for a chat, and can help with anything you need. The outside area is also stunning, and great to sit out when it's not typical Yorkshire weather! I highly recommend.

Great location for the local amenities and the waterfall trail! Very helpful host who spent time giving us useful information. Very clean and comfortable beds. Communal areas also clean and practical. Great breakfast & packed lunches. Car park has limited spaces but we squeezed in. Good, secure bike storage facility with secure posts and door.

Brilliant stay at the Ingleton YHA. We were there midweek and basically had the place to ourselves until Friday. Good clean facilities and lovely dining table in the kitchen. TV room and lounge are also separate. My only gripe is that the family room was on top of the drying room, and we could only open the window a couple of inches . Consequently, it was like a sauna in there, most uncomfortable! May be good in the winter though!! And quite cozy. Apart from that, brilliant stay. Staff are great.
