I chose this hotel for my late August trip to Nanxun. It's considered one of the more upscale options in Nanxun Ancient Town, being the private residence of Liu Chenggan, the owner of Jiayetang, whom Lu Xun once playfully called 'the foolish young master.' Such witty remarks among literati often carry a hidden admiration. Given that it's the former mansion of a descendant of the Liu family, one of Nanxun's 'Four Elephants,' the ambiance is naturally exceptional; the hotel itself is an attraction worth exploring. The location is also excellent, just north of Zhang Shiming's Former Residence and very close to Liu's Ladder House and Xiaolianzhuang, with Nanshi River right outside. It seems that the southern part of Nanxun Ancient Town generally has more wealthy mansions, while the northern part has more common people's homes. The hotel service is also very thoughtful, and the staff are very friendly. They even added me on WeChat and sent me an electronic map of the scenic area, which was very helpful for touring. Every evening, they delivered freshly brewed sweet soup. The room facilities are also great, with a fully stocked mini-bar including drinks and fruit. The most interesting feature is the room door; it seems to be the original old door, refurbished. Outside, it has a ring knocker, and inside, a wooden bolt – just like the doors in my childhood home. For an 80s-born individual with rural upbringing, it evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. And there's no need to worry about soundproofing; at least, I felt it was perfectly fine. Breakfast was also good, semi-buffet style, with freshly made wontons and lamb noodles, and other self-serve options. I believe that accommodation and dining significantly impact the overall travel experience, and this hotel certainly enhanced my two-day visit to Nanxun. It's highly recommended.

We received a free room upgrade, and since it was my mom's birthday on the day of check-in, the hotel even sent a special gift. The nourishing sweet soup every night was delicious. The overall service at the hotel was incredibly thoughtful. If I ever visit Nanxun Ancient Town again, I'll definitely choose Hua Jian Tang Qiu Shu Li.

The Nanxun Huajiantang Qiushuli Hotel is ideally located on Nancun Street, a bustling area of Nanxun Ancient Town. Zhang Shiming's Former Residence is less than 200 meters to the right, and Xiaolianzhuang Garden and Jiaye Library are just a few minutes' walk further, making it very convenient for sightseeing. Although the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot, parking lot No. 5 is very close. A friendly hotel staff member even helped us with our luggage from the parking lot. Upon arrival, seeing we had an elderly person with us, they immediately upgraded us to a larger room that was easier for seniors to navigate. The room was situated in the garden, which featured ancient trees, a stone tea table, and a wooden swing. The hotel itself is a protected heritage site, offering additional opportunities for exploration. Both breakfast and lunch at the hotel were delicious; the lamb noodles and small wontons were particularly good. The hotel also has a dedicated reading lounge where you can borrow books for free. Additionally, the rooms are equipped with smart toilet seats and are clean and hygienic. All the hotel staff were very friendly and provided thoughtful service, with the butler service being very responsive. Our stay at Huajiantang Qiushuli Hotel was excellent.

The room was excellent, and the hotel's location is superb, right inside the ancient town. People passing by can hardly believe there's a hotel here. Every corner of the hotel is a scenic spot itself, very beautiful and retro.

This hotel, a 130-year-old heritage building, boasts a cultured atmosphere with its new Chinese-style interior. The service is personalized and warm. I'll definitely stay at Hanamaki Hall again when I visit Nanxun. The front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping all provided excellent service.

Rich in cultural heritage and perfectly located (along the core scenic route of the South District), with a quiet courtyard and warm, attentive service, Blossom Hill Liu's Residence Haining is nestled in the renovated former home of Liu Chenggan. It boasts a profound historical and cultural background, a serene courtyard, and a convenient location, being close to Xiaolianzhuang and Zhang Shiming's Former Residence. The guest rooms are elegant and comfortable, the service is meticulous and well-mannered, and the on-site restaurant offers authentic local flavors.

The hotel's location is convenient for accessing various attractions. The breakfast was delicious and exquisite. Staff members Xiao Zhang and Xiao Shen were warm and attentive. After checking out, I realized I had left my handmade tie-dye artwork at the hotel. I contacted the hotel, and they immediately sent it back to me via SF Express. The hotel environment allows you to experience the luxury and historical charm of a grand estate.

A family of four, with two daughters, visited Nanxun Ancient Town. The hotel is located right inside the ancient town, making its location excellent. The staff, both male and female, were enthusiastic and attentive, and they even brought us sweet soup in the evening. We'll definitely choose to stay here again. The lamb noodles at breakfast left a deep impression on us, absolutely fantastic!
