Highly recommended! We checked into this store on Tunxi Old Street after climbing Huangshan Mountain. First of all, the store is brand new. It is very conspicuous and easy to find. After entering the gate, you still have to walk a short distance to the lobby, but I was pleasantly surprised that it has a rain-proof design and a large slope for easy pulling of suitcases. This detail is very impressive. It is also something that many similar hotels don’t have. Then there is the lobby, which is clean and bright. The self-service check-in machine can visually see the distribution of hotel rooms and then select available rooms. We didn't want to walk around with our luggage, so we chose a room close to the elevator. In particular, I would like to mention that the lady at the front desk is very gentle and patient. Then the room was very clean, with all floors, no carpets, and no strange smell. This room is the most satisfactory hotel room design in our Jiangxi and Anhui travel route. The toilet and bathroom sinks are large enough and well laid out. There is also a carefully arranged small table for making tea and drinking tea. Tea sets and tea leaves are all prepared. Because we were in a hurry, we didn't have time to eat breakfast. There is also a breakfast shop next to the hotel which is good. One more thing, because I was short of water while climbing Huangshan Mountain, I asked the hotel for water, and found that there were six bottles of pure water in the room! Thumbs up! All in all, it is a very surprising hotel and the price is super cost-effective! A heartfelt recommendation from a guest.

What made our stay here amazing wasn't only the comfortable beds, spacious room and delicious breakfast, but the wonderful manager (I believe her family name is Tan, forgive me if I forgot) and her polite and helpful staff! Firstly, our reservation was at ”SWEETOME Hotel”, but they decided they were no longer allowing foreigners to stay at their hotel (even with covid tests and green health codes). Fine, that's their ignorant decision to make, however, the problem was we were told this on arrival at check in. How unprofessional and thoughtless of them! Thankfully, Trip called around and this hotel seemed to be the only one taking foreigners, we were of course relieved. At this point our expectations were very low and I was thinking of cancelling the trip at leaving the next day, but the warmth and friendliness of the manager and all the staff we met at check-in and afterwards as well as the comfy room made us stay and enjoy Huangshan for 3 days. I'll definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend to my friends. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also all perfect! Well deserving of 20 stars!! Thankfully that other place turned us away!

Fantastic little little hotel with great service If you are looking for a genuine historical and unique hotel experience with super service — then this is the place for you. If you like hyper modern and fancy hotels with glass and concrete, stay away. Yujian No8 has a great location I’m Tunxi (Huangshan old city). Location is rated good because of it depends where you are going. If you want to visit the old city this is perfect. It is a little difficult to find the hotel if you are on your own, but we were met by hotel staff who helped with suitcases and directions. You can not drive in Tunxi old city so there are a few hundred meters to walk. There is a direct bus line from Huangshanbei railway station or you can easily use taxi. The location is very quiet and it feels like you are experiencing a jump in time. The staff is great. They do speak little English, but it’s easy to use translator apps on your phone/ if you have WeChat they also have their own account where it’s easy to communicate. The staff provided very useful information about the area and were very helpful, nice, friendly and professional. The hotel has spacious rooms and lovely public area. This is a very unique traditional hotel, with classic decor and design. The room was very clean with nice amenities. Even if the hotel is displaying historical design, it has modern and nice stuff in the rooms. Our room has bathtub and shower and also a small lounge. Very enjoyable. The overall experience with a super location for exploring the old city made this one of our most memorable stays. We can highly recommend Yujian No 8!

Conveniently located and within walking distance to the Huangshan North Train Station and Huangshan Passenger Bus Terminal. Hence, it is a good base to leave the luggages for a (backpacked) trip to Huangshan Mountain (Danxia Peak) and Hongcun Ancient Village (Moon Fen). It is also convenient to take Bus number 21 at the bus stop outside the Railway Station to Tunxi Old Street (about 30mins for CNY2). It's a very good hotel. You can feel the enthusiasm at the front desk from the moment you walk in. You are greeted and served with tea. When you check in, the front desk helped to upgrade the room type for free. The hotel is newly renovated. The facilities and decoration are very new. The rooms are very good and the bedding is pure. Made of bare cotton, it fits snugly and feels secure, and the pillow is also very comfortable. They were also kindly given a souvenir upon check-out, which is highly recommended! I have to give full marks to my stay this time. Because we were here for fun, the front desk gave us a lot of pertinent suggestions, which also made our travel plan particularly fulfilling. We also used the laundry room during our stay which was also very nice.

The store called in advance to communicate and knew that I would get off at the high-speed rail station. They told me the transportation route in detail. I took bus 21 to the eye hospital, and sure enough, I could see it when I got off the bus. The layout of the public area is very unique. The facilities in the room are complete and clean. The service is also very good. Any problems will be solved immediately. The soundproofing of the room is a bit poor. The window faces the community. It is quite quiet at night. There was an argument in the morning and I could hear it clearly. Although I couldn't understand it, the decibels were quite high.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the price is super high. Bedding was clean. Downstairs is a big supermarket, there are many restaurants around, and the transportation is convenient. No. 21 to High Speed Rail North Station is right in front of the door. The breakfast is rich, including rice noodles, porridge, rice dumplings, vegetable salad, fresh meat buns, fried dough sticks, milk, soy milk, coffee, black tea, and fruits. The service attitude is very good, especially Sister Shu at the front desk, who is kind and enthusiastic, introduces various matters carefully, and gives instructions on when and where to do nucleic acid. She is thoughtful and patient, which can be called a five-star service!

The hotel is located in the center of the city, and it takes only three to five minutes to walk to the old street. It is very convenient for shopping and dining. The hotel lobby feels spacious and bright when entering. The service staff is very enthusiastic and helps with luggage and delivers it to the room. Not long after entering the room, the waiter brought fresh fruit and milk. The room is very clean and well-equipped. The only thing is that the TV is not smart, and can only watch CCTV and local channels.

The owner’s family is very hospitable and very hardworking. The house is new and the accommodation facilities are new and very clean. I also eat at his house. Vegetables are grown in front of and behind her house. The ingredients are fresh and taste good. The proprietress’s father enthusiastically introduced places to visit in the surrounding area. The ancient town of Xixinan is a 2.5-kilometer walk away. The homestay is just behind Huangshan North Station, and the owner only takes 4 minutes to pick up the pine.

It only takes 30 minutes to walk to Old Street, which is acceptable. The hotel is older, but clean and hygienic. The hotel is fairly well-equipped and has a washing machine. The hotel does not provide towels, only two bath towels. I would like to praise the girl at the front desk. I asked her where the washing machine was and she told me and took the initiative to give me laundry balls and clothes hangers. I asked how to get to Qiyunshan because the bus station was closed at night. She called me and asked people around, but she couldn't find any results. When I went out the next day, she also tried to help me solve the problem. Finally, I took the bus to Yi County and got off at Qiyun Mountain on the way. When I returned to the hotel, she still cared about me and asked me about my trip to Qiyun Mountain. I really appreciated her service attitude.
