Hyatt Place Huangshan Train Station

I have to give a shout-out to Jessica! Her attitude was incredibly warm, and her service was attentive and efficient. She answered all our questions with such patience, making us feel right at home. A big thank you to Jessica for her wonderful care; we'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Xixinan and a 25-minute drive from Chengkan. It's a bit far from Tunxi District, the city center, but a 30-minute taxi ride isn't too bad. The hallway on our floor had no openable windows, so it was a sealed space and smelled a bit stuffy. The room also smelled a bit off when we first entered, but thankfully, there was a large window that could be opened. Airing it out helped a lot. I suggest the hotel regularly opens windows for ventilation! The room itself was quite spacious and even had a small walk-in closet, though there were no bathrobes. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel has a self-service, coin-operated laundry room, but it's a bit pricey at 20 for washing and 20 for drying. The interior cleanliness of the washing machines and dryers could be improved.

The room was great! The front desk helped upgrade us to a suite. Mandy was professional and polite, communicated well, and handled issues meticulously. The service experience was excellent, truly commendable.

The location is great, just a few minutes' walk from Huangshan North High-speed Railway Station. However, the room's cleanliness needs improvement; there was dust in many areas, like the headboard. On the other hand, this hotel has many guests heading to the mountains, and the breakfast is quite accommodating, allowing for takeout.

On our second day, after descending from Huangshan, we checked into the Hyatt Place Huangshan North. The hotel is a 50-minute drive from the South Gate transfer center and 5 minutes from Huangshan North Station. We booked a standard room for 489 RMB, which included breakfast for two and complimentary breakfast for our child. When checking in, the front desk staff provided a detailed overview of the hotel's services, including breakfast times, a half-price discount for a scenic spot, and high-speed rail pick-up/drop-off service. Our room on the seventh floor faced the street. We could see Huangshan North Station from the window, but the soundproofing was excellent, so it was very quiet. The room was quite spacious, with a large bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom was also very big, and the frosted glass in the shower meant no awkwardness. We had a wonderfully restful sleep after our climb down the mountain. During the summer, there's a themed activity every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Our daughter participated in two: on Friday afternoon at 5 PM, she made traditional Chinese medicine sachets in the lobby, and on Saturday morning at 10 AM, she experienced making sugar-coated hawthorns (tanghulu) at the restaurant entrance. I waited and observed in the lounge area during both activities. The staff actively guided the children to immerse themselves in the experience. My daughter later told me what the staff chatted about with her, and I could tell they were incredibly friendly! The next morning, while I was waiting for my child to finish the tanghulu experience, a staff member proactively approached me and said, 'You can trust us with your child; feel free to go back to your room and rest. We'll bring her back to your room after the activity.' Their service awareness was truly impressive! For dinner that day, we ate at the hotel restaurant. The 198 RMB set meal for two included five dishes and one soup. The food was delicious and refreshing – perfect after climbing Huangshan! The portions were generous, and there was even some left over for our family of three. Breakfast the next day was also very abundant. On weekends, the breakfast hours were extended until 10:30 AM. What's more, the restaurant staff proactively asked what drinks you wanted, and tableware was brought directly to our table. This is a truly thoughtful hotel!!!

Extremely satisfied! Wang Yuting, the lady at the restaurant, was especially nice and provided top-notch service!

The hotel environment is quite good, and the bathroom and walk-in closet are spacious, though the room itself is a bit small. The front desk kindly gave us an extra breakfast and offered a pick-up and drop-off service to Huangshan North Station. The driver was very friendly, which was a big plus. The only downside is that when I booked, it stated there was a sofa bed, but I was charged extra to have it opened and for an additional duvet. I think this aspect could be improved.
