We stayed in a plan with two meals per night. The hot spring was a spring quality containing a lot of salt, and there was an open-air bath in the public bath. The meal was served at the first floor restaurant of Tateyama course. We enjoyed sashimi, boiled brie, and Nishikyo Yaki. It is also close to the Himi Banya Street by car and is suitable for sightseeing. There are supermarkets and taverns on the same site.

A very nice onsen hotel in Himi. We booked a large quiet room (no. 535) which was value for money indeed. All the rooms, onsens and the restaurant are having magificant sea and mountain view. As we visited in mid-November, we missed the snowy mountain on the postcards that will be presented to customers. Dinner was yummy. We were served by a very helpful Filipino lady who spoke fluent English which was seldom in this part of Japan.

First time trying glamping and totally new accommodation! This resort is by the beach and includes sumptuous bbq dinner! Good for 4 people with individual bed in room with all amenities except tv which is totally fine. It also has onsen tickets to nearby hot spring which is great!! Highly recommend when in Toyama if you drive! Very good service and friendliness by host! 👍👍

I have no idea why this hotel is branded as Doubletree because it is a lot better than the usual Doubletree. It can definitely be a Hilton branded hotel. Everyone is kind and helpful and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with the food quality excellent. Plenty of choice between western and Japanese food, the Food and Beverage Manager was personally present to make sure everything was okay and he was fantastic to receive his advice on the best food to choose. Well done everyone

The hotel is located very close to the train station. There are many restaurants and malls close by. The staff were very friendly, and some were helpful in English. The information booth in the train station was very good for travel info. in English. The hotel has free tickets for the streetcars that were a good way to get around.

I stayed one night on the second day when I traveled alone in Toyama for 2 nights and 3 days. It was a normal business hotel price, but I was happy to see the magnificent appearance of the hotel from the taxi. It was a room type, but I was happy to make a twin room. There was no cheapness in the design of the room and each fixture, and the breakfast restaurant was on the top floor and the view and content were good. I was also able to eat Toyama's specialty firefly squid and black salted. There was lychee in the fruit, and I ate three of them while thinking it was the first time in years. I thought it was a hotel where you could get more satisfaction than the price even if you didn't use the travel discount. If there was Excel Hotel Tokyu on my next trip, I thought I would choose it.

It was the best location directly connected to Toyama station, so it was convenient to go anywhere. Doutor coffee, convenience store, and pharmacy chain are in the same building, and there is even a supermarket in the basement, so you can find local ingredients and souvenirs you want to buy cheaply, of course, you can also procure full-scale souvenirs. Toya Marche is next door. I used a triple room with my family, but the room was clean, comfortable and comfortable. I wonder if the arrangement of extra beds can be structurally helpful. Since the price is set including breakfast, I didn't expect much, but local ingredients such as masujushi, firefly squid, and kamaboko were also provided, and I enjoyed the Japanese and Western menus. Personally, I was grateful for the morning curry for the finish. Great location as near the train station and Toyama castle. To get to the castle, after exiting the hotel, turn left, walk straight on for some 100m , then cross the road. By then you can see the river. Just follow the river and you will arrive at the castle. Next to the castle is a public park, an ideal green area in the city to take a morning walk. As we were international guests, the hotel staff gave us free tram tickets to use to get around Toyama. Spacious and comfortable room. Quiet environment to pass the night. Fast, free open wifi. One can have free coffee to drink in the lounge. Nice, spacious lounge with many sofas to sit and relax / to while away time/ to wait for friends.

Perfect location. The hotel is literally steps from the Toyama Tram Station, the Toyama Station and Dentetsu Train Station. The hotel is located in the upper floors of the Maroot Building which houses a mall, a premium grocery with a small area with tables, perfect to have some light meal. We got some sashimi after our day at Kurobe Gorge and before heading out on the train station. The room with got was good and clean. We got the Standard Twin Room and it was spacious enough. There's also a public bath in the hotel, perfect for a long day coming from Nagano via the Tateyama Alpine Route. I love how the lobby looks as well as the guest lounge and public bath, they all have that modern look that's stylish and clean. Security is good despite it being in the same building as the mall and use the same elevator to the lobby. From the lobby, to get into the elevator hall for the rooms, you need to scan your key card. then scan again on the elevator. Also to get into the public bath and to the guest lounge which offers water, ice, coffee and some snacks. While I appreciate the strict security, I think there's too much duplicate key card scanning. Basically you still have to scan to get into an area which is already inside a secured area. It's kinda overkill in my opinion :-) Staff is okay, they do what is expected of a hotel like this and they are good with their jobs but a bit aloof. They could improve in terms of friendliness. Aside from these things, the hotel was great, the space was comfortable and the ambiance was very nice and tasteful. Unfortunately, we only stayed a night.
