Wir haben das Angebot Kurzurlaub 5=4 im Doppelzimmer Premium gebucht. Die Premiumzimmer sind alle ruhig gelegen, was uns wichtig war. Das Zimmer ist groß, mit viel Platz und hochwertiger Einrichtung. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Service beim Abendessen im Atrium ist sehr gut und angenehm dezent, das Abendessen sehr fein. Beim Frühstücksbuffet fehlt es an nichts. Nur eine Woche nach unserem Aufenthalt wurde auch das Hotel Augustiner Kloster von der verheerenden Hochwasserkatastrophe in Rheinland-Pfalz heimgesucht. Wir sind sehr betroffen und traurig, wenn wir diese Bilder sehen. Wenn das Hotel hoffentlich bald wieder eröffnet werden kann ist es auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!

Zwar war wegen Corona der Hotelbetrieb noch eingeschränkt, aber es ist unverständlich, dass für den vollen 4-Sterne-Preis - der Wellnessbereich geschlossen war - das Frühstück nur ein lieblos angerichtetes Notessen war - das Halbpension-Abendessen Rasthofniveau hatte ohne jegliche Frischgemüsebeilage, nur Pommes oder Bratkartoffeln - beim Abendessen im Gastraum laute Technomusik läuft - der Service abends einen am 4. Abend beim Betreten des Hauses begrüßt mit "Halt, wollen Sie denn hin?" Ich könnte noch eine Vielzahl von Kleinigkeiten aufzählen, die nicht passieren dürfen, das geht aber hier zu weit. Schade. Einzig das teure Premium-Zimmer hatte 4-Sterne-Niveau.
