We had our family holiday here in April and loved it. The staff were amazing. Firstly we arrived late due to flight times but the hotel reopened the restaurant for late arrivals. Granted, it was only salads, breads and cheeses, but we didn’t expect anything at all so this was a bonus. Check in was smooth and we were escorted to our room on a buggy by lovely staff. The room was clean and spacious on arrival and cleaned almost daily. Another bonus we enjoyed was the restock of free bottled water each day. The food and drink options were great, plenty to choose from and had different themes each night. There are also other restaurants on site that we could eat at for free as long as you book in advance. We loved the Asian Star. With so many pools and different areas to choose from we kept busy for most of the week. The slides/waterpark was a big hit for my son and the countless times he went on them. Some days were busier than others as members of the public can pay to come in too. The little beaches along the resort were a great bonus too. Free subbed and clear water…what more could you want. I’d definitely book again.

What an amazing hotel, so much for the kids to do. The animation team particularly Gregory & Nicolas were excellent with the children, playing football, card games and just generally entertaining them. There is a football pitch at near the main hotel snack bar (Dionyssos). You have to get down early and secure your sunbeds as they are taken quickly and not used for hours!!! The bees are a pest but don’t sting you, they just want to sweet drinks & food. Just more of an annoyance than anything else. You don’t need to pack towels!!! They are provided at the snack bar every day (with the cards handed to you at check in) All the bar, restaurant, cleaning staff are super friendly, haven’t had a bad experience with anyone. There is the main buffet restaurant but also the Cretan & Asian which is part of the All Inclusive (have to book though). The food was consistently good, no complaints. They do themed evening meals (Mexican, around the world, Mediterranean etc) although that is only a small part of the selection, you can always get meat, fish, salads, pizza, pasta. The list is endless. The hotel snack bar is open from 10am to 6pm serving pizza, chips, toasties, burgers & hotdogs. The water park snack bar is the same opening times with the same food options but also noodles. Alcohol - you can get a drink from 10am until midnight. It’s local spirits so not that strong but nice enough to drink throughout the day. There is also beer & cocktails. The water park although not officially part of the hotel, it doesn’t feel like it. It’s across a little road and free entry for hotel guests. There is 1 bar there which is included the All Inclusive, the rest you have to buy drinks at. The sunbeds and umbrellas are free for hotel guests, although there is an over 18’s part which they sporadically asked for payment so we just moved to nearer the slides on the grass where it is free. Our room was opposite the entrance to the water park so it was quiet enough, away from all the pools and entertainment in the evening. They were cleaned daily & bottles of water left for us. I’d say the only negative is the hotel is quite hard to get your bearings when you first arrive as it’s so big. It felt a bit rushed checking in and we were sent on our way with a map with was a bit confusing. All in all though I’d give the hotel 5*’s

My family and I stayed for a week in a superior family room at Star Beach village and we were highly impressed with the room which was plenty big enough for the four of us. With two rooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor with a large outside terrace it suited our needs perfectly. The hotel complex itself is fantastic with plenty of areas to suit everyone's needs. The pool areas were always clean and tidy and our children, 6yo and 2yo, were always entertained. The bar staff on the multiple bars were good and the bar staff at the pool bar were great at remembering repeat orders to speed things up. The highlight of our trip was the Minos restaurant. Our 6yo daughter has Celiac Disease and our biggest concern prior to our arrival was catering for her during our stay. On our arrival we had to fill in a quick form for this which was sent to the kitchen and we were told to go down to the restaurant and speak to the Soux Chef Mr Mainolis who walked us around the various food displays and explained everything including telling us that he would personally prepare meals such as Pizza and Pasta for our daughter and if we had any questions about the food on offer to speak to him. During our stay we we would visit the Minos restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner most days and he would always great us with a smile as we approached him. When my daughter would ask for Pizza or Pasta he would stop what he was doing straight away and go and get it. There was never an eye roll or a delay he would stop what he was doing and prepare a meal for our daughter. I cannot describe how much stress this relieved for me and my wife. Even the Asian Star restaurant bent over backwards to make sure our daughter was catered for. Mr Mainolis was fantastic in caring for our daughter during the week we were there and he is a credit to the resort. My wife and I are already looking at when we can go back in the next year or so as we enjoyed it so much as a family.

Well, what can I say? I have been home roughly 24 hours & didn’t want to write a review until I had enough time to reflect. Firstly, I’d like to say don’t believe everything you read online, mainly the negatives. For a four-star hotel, this is incredible value. Perfect for people of all ages, elderly, young, & families. It’s got something for everyone. The name Star Beach Village is an accurate deception of what the place is like. It’s a massive complex with a water park, multiple restaurants, beaches, bars, entertainment & activities running throughout the day. My partner & I are both vegan & mainly picked this hotel on that basis. And I can confirm that they were very accommodating. That was 100% correct. For breakfast, you could have certain cereals, nuts, fruit, yoghurts, vegan cheese, bread, vegan butter, chocolate spread & more. Lunchtime was mostly salads, pittas, chips, but that’s fine! And every evening in the main restaurant there is a theme. Examples are Mexican, Greek & Italian. There is a hot plate station with six options for vegans every night. Those options vary on the theme of the evening. We had vegan lasagna, rice, mushroom stew, pasta, and so much variety. And finally, I would like to give a special thanks to both George & Diana who were working the floor in the main restaurant. Those two are superstars. Always going above and beyond to make sure your experience was enjoyable. Empty plates removed from our table within seconds & always friendly & cheerful. Honestly, every single member of staff was working incredibly hard. But those two made a lasting impression on us both. The only downside is some of the accommodation is located across the road from the main hotel complex. It’s only a small walk, no more than a few minutes. But you do have to cross a busy road or use a tunnel. So bear that in mind if you have children & pay extra to stay in the main hotel. Overall, I’d highly recommend going & giving it a try for yourselves. I hope this review helps someone make their mind up.

Firstly I want to say that we had an amazing time and we were absolutely be going back next year! For us it was about the entertainment, the facilities for the children, it was clean, the food was amazing, the staff was so friendly and helpful and it was just a really lovely atmosphere. As a family of four who have a combined four food allergies for under two kids under the age of three and then a severe shellfish allergy for myself we don't often eat out in the UK as it's really hard. So I contacted the hotel before we went via email and I got a really swift very concise response from them in terms of my questions about oat milk and what to do about the allergies. O. Arrival I was absolutely thrilled with the way they were able to accommodate us the chef literally said let me know what you would like me to cook you we will cook you anything. They made us feel as if we were no trouble whatsoever which is quite rare if you are an allergy mum because you're asking for changes to menus all the time and this wasn't the case at all here! The entertainment staff were fantastic the mini disco was so much fun and the quality of the evening entertainment was really high and I'd say we enjoyed out of the seven different shows five of them we thought were fantastic one of them we didn't really enjoy and one of them I think just didn't quite hit the market in terms of family. For facilities it was brilliant- the pools for children of all ages the options are great and a lot of fun for the adults as well. that the beaches are really nice very soft sand - my son who is 11 months old ate quite a lot of it quite happily with no problems afterwards ( I was very stressed first beach day but he was fine!) the water was as clear as anything and we thought the beaches were nicely clean. Our room which was a family room was really good the only thing we have noted we saw that there was a bath on the description and my daughter is really not a fan of showers she is just under three years old and we got there no bath two showers. The shower heads however I have to say a big shout out for the biggest rain shower head I have ever seen which had seemingly endless supply of lovely warm water coming from as well as a small less powerful shower head which my daughter actually was okay with. The needs were soft but I'm a fan of that so very comfy. I think my only improvement or recommendation to the hotel would be within the all-inclusive there is ice cream cabinets at the poolside bars with six different flavors of ice cream which is a wonderful and also toppings. However my daughter has a dairy allergy and it'd be really nice if she could be included in just being able to go up to that chiller and get out maybe a sealed ice pop for instance just so that she doesn't feel excluded in that situation. I highly recommend this hotel for families and I think that if you're looking for something which is relaxed and fun and feel very friendly in a very lush setting this is

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The service is bad, people are not nice. The food is shocking And the pictures are false! The hotel doesn't look like that! The worst - the cleanliness of the room. We had fire ports, they stung us all night and when we asked to be moved to a room they simply disrespected us and canceled our reservation. We had to leave and look for another hotel. Luckily we found a much better one! Highly recommend not to approach this hotel

We recently returned home from our second time staying at this hotel and we had an amazing time again! Cannot fault it at all. My sons’ favourite part of the holiday was Garfield from the entertainment team! Garfield is amazing and made my son feel special by letting him become his assistant for the evenings 🥰

Just arrived home from 10 days at Star Beach with my wife and 5 year old daughter Would highly recommend this place! Was ideal for us as a family and would be great just the 2 of us also. The food was absolutely incredible as far as all inclusive hotels go. By far the best I’ve had on any resort. The main restaurant does get very busy and noisy at times but always a quieter spot to find. There’s 3 restaurants in total including one Asian which has to be booked in advance for dinner along with a Greek place. All the food is beautifully presented with lots of attention to detail and cooked in batches as opposed to just sitting going stale through the night. Cannot praise the food enough The pools are all immaculate and plenty fun for kids to have. We had a plumbing issue with our room and had to move on our third day which was a bit of a pain but the staff took our bags and helped move things for us. The rooms we had were both lovely. Definitely opt for sea view if possible and ensure you ask for a clear view as our second room had the view obscured by trees but we didn’t really want any more disruption so just went with it. Evening entertainment was great most nights and the animation team were friendly and brilliant with the kids around. Will definitely return
