The best staff and regular clientele we have seen as a couple on our travels! My boss booked this last minute as a reward for our hard work after a fantastically successful exhibition in Penzance. Despite the last minute booking, the staff were well prepared for us. Upon arrival the extremely professional and courteous bar-staff treated us so well. After such a busy exhibition, we were tired and confused. As well as the staff, the regular clientele were fantastic at helping us with directions and other local advice. The shining star of our stay were the two bar ladies. Between them they helped us complete the simplest of tasks that we were unable to perform (ie working a very easy to use coffee maker) and charging our phones with their own chargers. Whenever we got confused, they were there to guide and support us until we went to bed! We can not recommend this hotel enough. The room was spotless when we arrived, with all the modern conveniences (that we couldn't work until shown with much patience by the aforementioned staff).
