It is incomprehensible that they did not inform us of this earlier. In the end we drew the short straw and checked into another hotel together. Not really a warm welcome. I am also submitting a formal complaint to you about how this could have happened. The hotel was recently taken over by another organization, but that is no reason to treat your customers this way. They should have informed us of this in advance and not upon arrival. Then we could have made a different choice ourselves. This didn't feel good.
