This hotel is old but you can feel that hotel is really American brand. The room is huge, the area of hotel is enormous, although the hotel and amenities not quite modern but my family loved here.
* The Cleanliness is ok(not bad)
* Location is very convenient if you are going to other city.Very close to Highway and downtown of this small city.
* Service is alright but not professional.
* Amenities are OK but it is not ultra modern hotel.
In Conclusion this hotel deserves that money.

I am not sure I want to give a reference to have many others come, but I have to be fair to the exceptional service, care wonderful facility of the Wyndham in Gettysburg. The staff was so kind at every step, the bar tender who made sure my wife was okay, the breakfast servers who made sure our meal was excellent, the responsive and attentive front desk staff... What a team to make one's stay so wonderful, and it was. It is so large, the rooms so clean, realy, you can see th effort put into this operation for the comfort of their guests. There are large goups finding this place for large weekend events, but its is such a large place, it sodes not affect the privacy of other guests, Amazing... I cannot imagine someone not really enjoying their time in this wonderful area.

We had to switch rooms twice and finally got tired of moving rooms. First room stunk bad and had stains on sheets. Second room had worse smell and stain on pillows. Third room smelled better but had no comforter just a sheet and throw blanket. Asked for a comforter for another throw blanket with holes in it. The carpet stained and the bathroom had no fan working and mildew on shower curtain and in shower. I had to clean it myself cause at this point I was frustrated. The best part of that hotel was the friendly staff more specifically, Charlene. Honestly I deserve a refund for this horrible experience. But it is what it is.

The hotel is very beautiful. The women at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. The room was nice enough, though nothing exceptional. It was clean. The mattress looked very used and could be firmer. Also, not sure why there is only half a shower door. If the price was right, though, I would stay here again.

The staff were above and beyond friendly - especially in the breakfast restaurant. The bigger breakfast was very good and much better than typical hotel breakfasts. Room was big and comfortable- also above typical American hotel standards. US historical decor abounds making it feel like a museum downstairs. Also less than 30 min drive to ski at Liberty. This hotel was a real g!

Jingoistic and tacky "presidential" themed decor was a huge bummer. Front desk clerk reeked of cigarette smoke. There was a literal cannon in the lobby, which we found horrifying. We checked in at 11 pm but despite the late hour there was a woman playing the piano incredibly loudly. Comically bad "patriotic" art hanging everywhere. Room was very hot and very poorly lit. Basically this place is cut-rate Legoland for right-wingers.

wyndham gettysburg is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. the location is within 15 minutes of just about anywhere you would want to go in gettysburg with many shopping and eating places within a2 minute drive. it is quiet, clean, and very comfortable. the staff was wonderful, very friendly, helpful, yet professional. we felt well cared for at the wyndham.
