- Summary: My partner and I were having some issues with our Agoda booking with a nearby homestay so we had to make a last-minute booking with this resort. We were so happy to be able to find a place at the last minute on the 2nd day of Tet (***** New Year) Feb 11, 2024. However, what we received was: 1. Unwelcoming attitude of the security staff The security stopped us because we were on our scooter, refused to call us an electric resort car, and said that the resort did not have an e-car during the Tet holiday. As a result, we have to walk from the parking lot with our baggage (~1.5km). I can still remember the way the security lady stared and scanned us from top to toe that day. 2. Avoidant attitude of the receptionist Upon checking in, we shared our bad experience with the security lady above and were immediately informed by the receptionist that the resort had many cars. And asked us back why we did not call the hotline for support. That's all! No apology was said. 3. Local Vietnamese are not welcome. Once we checked in, we walked around and of course, used the dining service of the resort. But everyone doesn't look friendly to us. I'm not sure if is this because the place didn't have many people or because we are local. (Other Korean guests received different services for sure). 4. Terrible checkout process or discrimination? As mentioned above, we need to continue our trip to the northwest side of Hanoi and the night with Wyndham was just to fill in our single booking issue. We need to check out the next day (Feb 12, 2024). The same receptionist lady checked us out and I had requested for a receipt with my name (so I could work with Agoda later) since the check-in date. However, my receipt was not prepared. The lady then asked us to wait for them to check the room and, at the same time to print my requested receipt. After 10 minutes, I was given the receipt with no confirmation that the checkout process was completed. We waited for another 20 minutes until we saw another couple who came to check out after us. They were greeted nicely and informed that the checkout process was completed. So we had to check if we could go, the receptionist then told us the room checking was already done the moment they handed us the receipt without any explanation. Do we need to assume that the checking process is done when they only give us that receipt? Again, no apology was made but they only gave explanations. I think the front desk team has no customer service mindset at all. I have never had such a bad resort experience in Vietnam, even with other Wyndham properties. I will never come back nor will I ever recommend anyone to come here. I hope this helps someone to make their decision.

This place is a one / two days stay for golfers. The place is good for servicing local Vietnamese and Korean people. Overall the rooms are really beautiful and modern. Our room was with the balcony overlooking the golf course. Good thing, that it's only 10 minutes walk to the golf course to play. Good thing about the hotel is that there is a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. For vegans it's not the place to stay, because all dishes out of the menu are veggies and tofu (only by request). The staff is nice, helpful, but apart from the manager and one waiter no one speaks English at all. Also, they give breakfast vouchers and some days, there's no buffet but just dishes to order (again for vegans there's only cornflakes with soy milk). Hopefully, the place will be more foreigner accommodating and flexible.

Rest well with your family during the ***** New Year holidays, go swimming, double kayak, and even waterball. I had a great time The heated pool is the best here.

The room condition is spacious and good.

worst hotel I had a very difficult day with the kids due to the smell of cigarettes, and I complained about it, but the manager didn't even apologize and said there was no smell at all. The worst staff and hotel that leaves you with nothing to say

Wonderful Lake and golf resort , with great view . I booked through Agoda , not directly ..paid about 5 million dongs for 2 nights for 2 pax + 1 million dongs for 1 extra pax . New rooms ..hardware is good ..great view ..if u want to chill and relax ..overall good check in and check ou experience...happy with the staff ..would recommend to premium travellers who want not a city experience ..

I stayed in a very new and clean villa, equipped with amenities like a regular house, with a swimming pool, kitchen, large bathroom and bathtub. However, at that time, the hotel did not operate accompanying services such as boating or fishing, so there were no activities. The hotel also did not notify us in advance that they were not operating even though I mentioned these activities when asking. consultation before booking. So even though the space was beautiful, the family's experience was quite boring and felt it was not worth the cost. We hope the hotel will improve and be more clear with guests.

The hotel is wonderful with beautiful surroundings, inside a golf course and a vast Lake, named Van Son Lake. This is a really new hotel and there are a lot of villas. This will fit for all small group, golf players and family for short vacation for weekend. However, this will not function for a big meeting cause the ballroom is for about max 120 guests only.

A beautiful place where you can enjoy the time together. Good food, friend and helpful staffs. I can enjoy the fresh air and play golf with my family. I will recommend my friend about this nice place.
