The hotel is located in the old city. The waiters are courteous and friendly, and the dining is convenient. There is a convenience store within a minute's walk from the hotel entrance. However, the noise of cars is noisy, and the site is narrow. It is a residential building. The elevator is on the second floor. You have to climb stairs to reach the elevator entrance. . The breakfast is delicious. In addition to the self-service, you can also order omelettes and rice noodles a la carte. However, the dining space is small and there may not be enough seats when there are many people. In addition, the room is generally clean and tidy, the bed and pillows are good to sleep on, and the housekeeping is also very good. The bathroom comes with toiletries, but the WIFI network is not very stable, the number of power sockets is small, and the bathroom floor is too slippery when taking a shower, so be careful. Not bad in terms of CP value.

I hadn't paid close attention when booking, but judging by the name (Royal Palace), an above-average price and photos of beautiful rooms, this hotel seemed like a good choice and the name does create expectations.. We received a warm welcome by friendly and helpful staff. But upon arrival in the room it quickly diminished. The room was almost completely filled by the bed. We then discovered a puddle of water next to the bed, which turned out to be caused by the minibar. View of the city, it turned out to be a view of a neighboring building two meters away. Bedding was damp and not clean, because we could not sleep in it, it was replaced. The television was turned on, but all channels gave a very poor picture due to noise. The next morning breakfast was also a disaster, there were only about ten tables, so we had to wait until someone had finished eating. Breakfast choice was also very limited. Furthermore, you first have to climb three flights of stairs to the elevator and from the elevator another flight of stairs to the correct floor. I'm not even going to talk about the poor finish etc. All in all, it was a reason for us not to stay the t****th night for which we did not get the money back. We also did not accept the manager's offer for a "better" room. The condition of this hotel was too bad. I wouldn't stay there for free yet. There should actually be an arrangement that if there is misleading information, a (partial) refund should still be possible...

Stepping on the thunder, the hotel is very poor, it doesn't matter if the room is small, as long as it is clean and tidy, but even this basic requirement is not met. The curtains cannot be closed tightly, there are no charging sockets on both sides of the bedside table, the bath towels and towels have a very obvious damp smell, which is the smell of clothes that are too humid to dry, and there is something on the towels. There is no sign for showering and shampooing. It is hard to tell which one is for shampooing and which one is for bathing. The towels are also gray and feel dirty, mainly because they stink. There are always unknown sharp noises in the toilet, which affects sleep. The air conditioner was blowing directly on the bed, no matter how small the wind was turned off, or the angle was adjusted, it would blow the air stupidly. Moreover, in the middle of the night, the refrigerator in the side cabinet suddenly started to cool down, making a loud noise, which affected sleep. Shortly after eating breakfast, I started to have loose stools. I had loose water directly, and it didn’t get better after a few days. Only after taking medicine from the hospital did I get better. This is the worst hotel I have experienced.

The staff were friendly and helpful! A staff member told me that the exchange rate was good, so I asked for it!

It is located at the edge of the old city area, so if you take a bus from the airport, get off at Hanoi station and walk away, so it is a good place for people who are not familiar with the area. Facilities, service, breakfast are suitable for price and are neither good nor bad.
