B&B Hotel Hamburg City-Ost Reviews

Dirty room and bathroom. On the day of arrival, among other things: hair from the previous guest in the bed, dirty toilet, shower not properly cleaned, old water damage in the entrance area, dust on the TV, closet, lamps. The staff, when they could be found, was completely overwhelmed and rude. Room was reserved for 2 nights via 2 different booking portals, but under the same company and guest name. After 1 night you were suddenly checked out automatically and had to wait in a long queue for a new check-in. Despite an explanation of what caused the incomprehensible check-out, one was spoken to and treated rudely. Unfortunately not an isolated case, as it affected almost the entire business group. Breakfast could not be booked as there was no staff in the reception area or in the breakfast area in the morning. In the lobby area, as a guest, you sit next to the laundry trolley, the drinks and snack vending machine, which is otherwise subject to a charge, is simply open, there was no staff to be seen far and wide to point this out. Asking for lost property after departure is rudely stifled directly on the phone without being able to say what it is about. Too bad that no manager was present. After training as a hotel specialist and then 12 years of professional experience, as well as after many hotel trips on different occasions, it was frightening to see how guests are treated. B&B has great, well-kept hotels with super committed employees in other cities, and this would also be desirable for Hamburg City East in the future.
