Good hotel. All new. Location is perfect! Rooms OK, because we knew the rooms are tiny. Bathroom is great. Beds way too hard, reason to not sleep here again. Breakfast is good. Keep in mind the concept of the hotel if you go there. The RoofDrop bar is great for the view and there drinks (cocktails!). We did not understand why it is totally different from the rest of the hotel. Seating terrible.

Our double room was far too small for a couple. Whilst the bed was comfortable I had to climb wooden steps to get into it.. dangerous! Bathroom also too small, not even a glass to hold a toothbrush, combined shampoo & soap provided was very harsh. No bottled water provided, no wardrobe & no TV. Food is Vegetarian only really.. Meat dish not specified on menu & appears to be frowned upon. This hotel takes sustainability too far for our liking, and staff have a bit of an attitude about it! Strangely, there’s bare concrete walls & flooring everywhere (hardly match the environmentally friendly ethos).

Minimalistic & comfortable. Very nice view from the roof terrace over Hamburg. Breakfast was very good. How ever, the food could be better distributed. It took me time to find things. On the rooms, there could be hairdrayers, too. I liked the bed very much..

New hotel, construction works in front of the building entrance are still pending. Hotel looks very interesting and modern but some solutions seems to be design over function. Standard rooms are very tiny, no room for the suitcase. The bed is on the plywood podium (mind the corner when you climb on it). It would be very cool solution, but the window is facing the close apar**ent building. In the bathroom there is no shelf to put the toiletries. The positive: lovely and friendly staff, very nice breakfast,

Great staffs!
It was a little hard to find the entrance of the hotel due to construction around the hotel. Also, it’s not so easy to find elevator and a room at the first sight. Need more sign and proper sign location.
This is a new hotel, so be careful not to touch the asfalt wall in the room. Otherwise, you’ll wear clothes with white powder.

Top new hotel with interesting rooms and beautiful design. Top vegetarian breakfast. Sustainability is a top priority. Great rooftop bar to end the evening after a busy day of sightseeing. Perfect and quiet location 9 minutes walk from the main train station.

The rooms are modern, clean and beautiful. The staff is super friendly. The rooftop bar and sauna are fantastic, with a great view over Hamburg. All in all a great hotel and highly recommended. We had a great time and would check into the Villa Viva Hamburg again and again.

Booked Villa Via Hamburg for one night. I was greeted in a friendly manner and addressed as "Du", I immediately felt at home. I had booked a camping box. The tension was building. I had to climb, if the ladder in front of the box had been in the middle and a bit wider, I would have felt more comfortable getting in and out. I passed on the information. Opposite was a locker to store your things, as well as a toilet and shower/hairdryer/shower lotion. Towels and earplugs were available. There was also a bar/rooftop bar (sauna not used) with a great view over Hamburg. The night was good, I would book again for a weekend. I didn't use breakfast or the restaurant in the evening
