A nice western style bed & breakfast ~5 minutes walk from Sokodo Beach.
It is a little bit outdated and pricey for what you get, but it was convenient to the beach and the owner was very kind and enjoyable to work with. We recommend this place to a solo traveler or a young couple who prefer to stay on a budget.

八丈島への初旅行で利用しました。 是非また訪れたい宿です。 当初予定の宿泊日程では新館、チェックアウト後、八丈島空港からのフライトキャンセルが確定したらロッジオーシャンさんからすぐに電話を頂いてフロントがある建物の二階に泊まりました。 どちらの部屋も一般的なビジネスホテルより少し広めです。 新館はとてもキレイで明るい雰囲気。ちょっと防音性が低いのか、工事関係者らが同じ新館の一室で宴会をしていてかなりうるさかったです。宴会さえなければかなり快適な部屋です。 フロント二階の部屋も新館と広さはほぼ同じ。ちょっと古めの和室を洋室にリノベーションした様相でしたが快適でした。 こちらの宿は二食付きの一番安いプランでしたが、それでも新鮮な地魚の刺し身とフライがついて満腹満足でした。 周りに食事どころか商店も至近にないので、素泊まりでなく二食付きプランをおすすめします。

とても、親切にスタッフの方々が、対応してくれました。
私は執筆がメインでしたので、最低限のものがあれば、それで良かったので、快適でした。ただ、パジャマは、持参して下さい。
有料でレンタルもできます。
食事は美味しく、ボリュームがあります。
忘れ物しましたが、すぐに送ってくれたり、空港まで、早めに送ってくださつたり、非常に、細やかなこころ配りでした。
大変お世話になりました。ありがとうございました。
