Stopped in for a drink and to watch the game and had an amazing experience with the AMAZING bartender Nikki! She crafted amazing drinks and was personable, charismatic and fun to interact with. Atmosphere was good. Drinks and food were great. Music was good too. Would recommend!

We stayed one night and have stayed here before. Pros: Checkin, Checkout and breakfast-all good. Room quiet, everything worked, comfortable. Cons: We found a live roach in the morning on the chest of drawers. We got a call from the front desk manager at 1 am waking us up. He asked: ”Do you have any animals in the room? I said No. He almost acted like he didnt quite believe us but said ”sorry for calling so late”. REALLY? Honestly, I have been traveling for 30+ years and have never had this happen. Here's what you do: You get off your a$$ and walk the floors until you hear the noisy animals and you knock on the door or call the room. You dont start calling people's rooms. We heard nothing so I cant imagine where the noisy animals were. Pretty much ruined our stay and our sleep.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Because it is a hard rock, the price is much higher than that of surrounding hotels. I happened to stay on the weekend, and the price of a double bed balcony room with taxes and resort fees was nearly 4,000 per night. The best thing is that the beautiful scenery is unparalleled. When you open the window, you can see the vast Atlantic Ocean. When you open the curtains, you are facing the sunrise. Especially in August, the sunrise in Orlando does not rise until 7 o'clock. There is no need to get up early. It’s extremely relaxing to watch the sunrise while stretching!

This hotel is a little cottage in the woods sort of place…quiet, not cluttered with urban madness at your doorstep, yet easily accessed for events and adventures nearby. Driving is a must and what it might lack in some things you want… like free everything….you have the gift of seclusion and rest. The lobby and entry area is huge and possibilities endless to relax, do business or meetings, and to chill out with food, snacks, and beverages. I used canes and my walker on a bad day and navigating was easy peasy. I cannot say enough about the staff from folks out front to cleaning crew to Bistro waitress. Flat out kind. Thoughtful. Funny. Helpful. Honest.

We ended up at the Daytona Grande after the Hilton Oceanfront overbooked and we were on our way with no place to stay! Admittedly not the safest, but I had to book this place while driving from the Orlando airport and just looking for something that wasn’t a total dive but still decently priced without a ton of extra fees. No free breakfast here which is something I especially appreciate as a family of 6, but in this case it was just me and my teenage son in town for an archery championship. After the highly stressful day of travel we had, the Grande was like a little slice of Heaven! It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We decided after having to skip lunch with flight delays and all that, we just wanted a good meal and a good bed and we got exactly that. My son and I split truffle fries to start, the crusted crab filet, and beignets for dessert. All were wonderful (and we’re from Dallas where there is no shortage of excellent food) and enjoyed Oceanside on the dimly lit quiet patio. My only criticism is that the tables should be turned perpendicularly to the ocean and hotel so that everyone at the table gets a view of both rather than one facing a wall while the other faces the ocean.
Rooms were nicely decorated, had comfortable, intuitive lighting, handy USB plugs, and most importantly REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDS! We have a Tempurpedic at home so my sleep is usually pretty abysmal at hotels. Now, this wasn’t as comfy as home, but I slept hard and woke without being sore since the bed was genuinely comfortable.
My only complaints about the room were that the window sheers, while stylish, really gave no privacy at all, so if you wanted privacy you had to sacrifice light. Water pressure wasn’t great and the bathroom needed more towel bars and hooks. This would’ve been way more of a nuisance with the whole family, but they also came midday and restocked towels and made up the beds, which we see less and less of these days, even at nice hotels in the name of being “green”. But it was spacious and clean and otherwise nicely equipped.
Elevators were fast and never held us up. Beach access from the elevator was nice as we didn’t have to walk through the lobby in swimsuits. Parking was slightly inconvenient being caddy corner across the street, but not bad at all. We considered but didn’t try room service mainly due to price and unknown wait (when we had tournament times to consider) but the little shop/cafe in the lobby was great and convenient and priced about as you’d expect (pricey, but not too ridiculous). We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches both days.
I think the biggest issue with this place is the visibility. It’s tall to be sure so you’re not going to miss it, but the entrance and signage is on the far side and behind a little aqua building (I think called Sand Dunes) which had to be apartments or a teeny hotel that I can only assume refused to sell to the Grande in development so the Grande built around it. It keeps it from having the opulent entrance that the Hilton does

This Hotel was amazing from the time you pulled up. My son was in Awww of all the Cars and Motorcycle Displays. He absolutely love NASCAR, so this was the perfect stay for him. The entire hotel was so clean, and the room was bigger than most hotel I’ve stayed in. The Hotel was in the middle of a shopping area, which made it even better. Doug was the absolute best. Speaking to him everyday and getting the ins and outs of the area. He recommended some amazing spots for our family that we loved. He spoke to my son about the History of NACAR and suggested that we do the 500 tour, which we did and loved it. His Hospitality was like no other. His smiling face everyday was a site to see. The food in the restaurants was great especially breakfast. We love that we were provided with beach chairs and umbrellas which made our beach trips better. The young made from the Philippines who was new to the areas, and worked at Sir Malcom restaurant was the absolute best server ( sorry I forgot his name). He went above and beyond doing our breakfast to make sure we had everything we needed. Over all this was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at in Daytona. We will definitely be back to visit and hope to see Doug again.

Environment: Nice. There is a big window where you can watch the sunrise in the room.
Service: The communication is not very clear, overall it’s okay^_^
The hotel's heated swimming pool and hot spring are nice and comfortable
GGuest UserThis Quality Inn is in a great location. The front desk lady was friendly , the breakfast was very good. All employees that we came in contact with were nice and efficient. The hotel was clean. The only complaint was that the room was very damp, carpet, sheets, towels. My husband's hat was wet the next morning. We stayed because we checked in late but it was uncomfortable. I am a Quality Inn fan & I know the humidity is high right now so maybe that was it. This wouldn't keep me from trying it again because everything else was great.
GGuest UserVery pleased with cleanliness, most of staff was very friendly the breakfast staff were super nice there was one who worked the desk at night who clearly did not want to be there and had a poor atitude, breakfast was okay wish they had a little more to offer but it was enough to get you going for the day, pool are met my needs but there were not readily available pool towels without having to ask, location was good not to much traffic right by both daytona speedway and the airport and a short 13 minutes or so from daytona beach was also nice that there was a mall across the street although I did not get to visit during my stay. I enjoyed the stay enough to book an additional day.
Ppatricia rBooked reservation well in advance prior to Hurricane Helene and made a special request to be placed on top floor (8th), due to having bad PTSD and loud noises from above will cause triggering seizures. Reservations advised they would notate the reservation and that the request was very reasonable and should not be any issue to be met, Especially since this was due to a medical request. In addition, as requested through reservations, I even did my due diligence to call the Hotel direct the day before checking into this property to assure that I would be assigned a room on the upper floor, and explained that there should be notes on the reservation stating the reason for the request and Again, I was assured that it could be met. Using the digital app to check in early the morning of the day of check-in, I received notification through the app that my room was ready at 12:07 pm and I clicked on the digital key, and it showed me the room number I was assigned to which was on the seventh floor. I then contacted the hotel direct in route to the property to inquire to why I was not on the eighth floor. The general manager is who answered the phone and was very rude and advised that there were no rooms available on the eighth floor, therefore I was placed on the seventh floor. I then advised her that I had a special needs request and was assured that it could be met and explain my reasoning for the request which she never made any apologies whatsoever that the request could not be granted. After driving 12 hours and arriving to the property around 5:30 PM that evening, and I went to click on the digital key for the room number on the 7th floor, it had been changed to the fifth floor. I inquired again to the hotel to ask why the room number had yet changed again, even though I had already checked in early and been assigned a room number and the key. I again was greeted with attitude and was advised that the emergency workers that was in the area decided to extend their stay and the room on the seventh floor was no longer available. When I inquired to how that could be possible to be assigned, not only the room number, but the key to the room if someone was still occupying it, there was no explanation provided. And in addition to all of the above, I was double charged for my stay, and when I contacted the hotel again regarding, and spoke to the same general manager, I was advised to dispute it with my credit card company and told that they knew that they had a glitch in their system and they did not know when it could be fixed! Since this trip was for my government job, I have notified my government agency of the treatment that I received from this property and it’s Manager and recommend that this property be removed from our listing for our government employees to stay while in this area.
I’ve been a choice hotel member for 12 years. I never seen a better hotel. Everything is excellent met and exceeded my expectations for the money. If you’re talking about spacious room where you can speak very loud about this hotel Even the breakfast area clean the food is fresh, and the service is phenomenal to say the least I just wanted to say thank you to each and every member that made this possible for us
TTaylor NMy best friend and I did the photoshoot with Family Sunset Photos and were surprised at how fun and painless it was. It was really nice to have it so convenient to our stand our photographer put us right at ease. It only took about twenty minutes but she was able to capture over 200 photos. The hardest part was choosing which ones to keep!
775sandibMy husband and I spent 5 nights here. Our room was on the second floor. It wasn't anything fancy, and we've stayed in better but it was good enough. We thought the bed slept fine, the shower was hot and had plenty of pressure, there wasn't noise that could be heard from other rooms, the TV worked great. The cleaning service came when requested and made the bed and brought clean towels. Breakfast couldn't be complained about, we thought there were plenty of choices and the staff working it were very nice and kept everything cleaned and stocked. There is still no pool as it got destroyed in the last big hurricane and there were workers there every day. You also have to go next door to use that property's stairs to get down to the beach. The rental of two beach chairs, an umbrella and a table is $50 which we decided we weren't willing to pay since we would only be using for a couple of hours. (Pretty sure it only cost half that when we were there 3 years ago but oh well.) Overall we did enjoy our stay. Plenty of places to eat and things to do around there and we would go back again and stay at this hotel.
GGuest UserLocation was perfect for what we needed. The pool was nice and access to the beach was perfect. The staff was less than inviting and some were just rude. The rooms were good sized but HOT. Needed to buy a fan to sleep. The AC units do not work as they should. The fan in the bathroom does not do it’s job. Had to shower with the door open to breath. The doors do not seal thus allowing even more hot air into an already hot room. If my room had not been prepaid I would of left after the first night. We were miserable trying to sleep. This LqQuinta does NOT live up to the many I have stayed in over the years. Very Disappointed!
WWisemanWilliamIt is what it is. An affordable place to stay. Not as glamorous or as new as other places but if you are on a budget and traveling it is a great place to stay.
