There is no understanding about privacy in this hotel. If you need to inform guests about you will check fire alarm - you can inform them at the check in . No need to send housekeeper to give me the paper when I already in the room and maybe I'm sleeping or having *ex with my wife. Even if you need to give me this paper - you can put it under the door. No need to knock like a crazy and ringing. So I need to stop what I'm doing and go open the door just to stop this crazy lady from breaking in. Also not cool , that after shower I need to wipe the floor with towel cause there is no rubber at the shower's door. Will attach the photos. Also why only 3 portions of coffee? We are a couple. So or you left 2 or 4. Why 3? Like we drink coffee together and than only one of us? From other point, guy at the reception understood my complain, apologize and offered us a bottle of wine. It's nice , but next time we will go to Jumeirah 🤷🏻

Special thank you to Front Desk staff at Grand International Hotel，they are very professional and friendly. check in and check out is very fast and efficient, they also sent me a very nice and beautiful gift with best wishes. This is the first time I stay in Grand international hotel， the room is comfortable and warm. I liked the restaurant on the first floor, which was good and delicious with lots of Canton food, also the price was good. hotel is far away from Metro station，while it is very convenient to book a car or taxi in hotel by door man. Hotel has a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool which is closed in the Winter. The Spa is also perfect, I recommended it if you have time to step in. I never see a bar here but the lobby bar was quite and good for us to meet the suppliers here with some coffee and tea. I definatly will come back if I have business in Guangzhou

The location is good, travel is very convenient, and the room is quite big. I went out with my friends for a long time to choose it, and there was no surprise. Nice Hotel with very friendly reception staff. Clean and good size room. A lovely view of the city from the windows. Very good breakfast. Two good size bottles of water provided. Close to the shopping mall, restaurants and steps away from subway station. A really good choice for a Canton Fair visitor, would certainly stay again.

The main reason is that the front desk staff were so nice. In order to prevent us from waiting too long, they took the initiative to upgrade the room. It was great. The room was very nice. The hotel is in a good location, close to Jinan University and South China Normal University. There are many places to eat, drink and have fun nearby. It was a surprise to get a free upgrade when checking in the hotel, after searching thru WeChat proposed hotel, noted that I was paying 100++ CNY more for the deluxe room! When going up the hotel, the corridor was dark and the spoilt bulb wasn’t replaced. Things get more challenging was the bathroom water was so milky this morning which I couldn’t use it to shower nor washing my face. This is also the time when I was rushing to board my flight!

Friendly staff, central location at a decent price. However, they do not have any proper king beds, they are just two doubles pushed together with two double duvets. They seem to put you in random rooms, as we only got the room we originally booked on the third try. While the hotel is meant to be non-smoking, it still happens and you can smell it from time to time. It is not a smart hotel, i.e. no smart toilet, no robot (food has to be collected from downstairs) and while it was opened only a few years ago, they rooms have not been well maintained and are already showing age It is ok for a couple days but we won't be back as there are so many other options at this price point.
