Very interesting archetecture, great view of Mt. Fuji and a good price were why we choose this hotel. We arrived around 6 PM and were told we couldn't use the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation. The room had a strange layout, a 3-mat room for a passageway (luggage drop?) and a small bedroom that one person could get out of bed on one side, but the other person had to crawl over the middle of the bed in the night to get out. In the closet were 2 hard hats?? In case Fujisan starts spewing ash? I think maybe this room was the staff's emergency room when forced to stay. The public bath was disappointingly small, so got crowded quickly. And the view? Of course it rained so no view of Mt. Fuji at all. Not in the hotel's control, but left us disenchanted... 4-star hotel. I don't think so.

I think this hotel is a adult themed hotel , me and my friend did not realise this when we booked . But the hotel is big and beautiful, big rooms and big beds for a hotel in Japan. Friendly staff when they are there , the hotel always seems empty. It’s near peace park (about 5mins) very good views on a clear day to get some great pics of Mt Fuji not a lot to do around the hotel .

This price is great with night curry service and breakfast. The curry service was until 19:30 (as of September 2020), so it's limited to those who want to check in early and relax. The location is not good if you don't have a car. I had heavy bags and it took me about 40 minutes to reach the hotel. I took a taxi back to the station after check out which cost 1200 yen. It is in a bit of an isolated area. Closest convenience store was about 10-15 mins on foot. The hotel itself is nice, clean and new. Rooms a bit small but I had a spectacular view of Fuji from my window. The bed was new and very comfortable. Remember to take a taxi from the station if you have a lot of luggage.
