The breakfast is good, the location is super good, the service is good, and the price is affordable! Hee hee, it is suitable for taking children. There is no parking lot, but there are many parking lots nearby, and the location is super good.

Amazing position, great location. Maria, on reception was a 'star' -what a welcome. Friendly and professional. Treat two pots of ice cream, added bonus. A room off the dining area, first on the right, no miles of walking, excellent. Clean and comfortable, as the bathroom, lovely and clean. Breakfast the usual, seriously manic. Extremely busy, buffet, just warm food, lots of choice, wonderful hash browns. No prisoners taken, still enjoyable. Tables cleaned in between guests, well done. Only down side 'He' has now become a registered disabled, no parking available in the small parking area located on site which was annoying. We parked in the underground Gunwharf car park, the charge was reimbursed which was fine, however, it was an issue for him getting to and from the hotel. Did not spoil our stay, loved it, hopefully will stay again.

This is hotel is in a great location. Its close to city centre shops. 5 minute walk away. 1o to 15 minutes walk away from Gunwharf Quays. Safe car park.£10 a day. Good breakfast, lots of choice. A last-minute getaway for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. A friendly and helpful welcome from Laina and Dennis awaits you. The rooms are immaculate, the bed is comfy, and we were lucky enough to have a bay room that looks right out over, well, the bay. The breakfast is excellent, tasty, well cooked, a good variety (including fried bread!!), and it really sets you up for a day of exploring. Our only downside is that we only got to stay two nights and wish it could be longer. We will certainly be returning and look forward to staying for longer next time. The word “quality” applies to the whole experience. We stayed in Room 2 in Somerset House. It was a lovely, large, tastefully decorated room and we were lucky enough to get an off road parking space next to it. The food was excellent, both the breakfast (I particularly liked the Avocado Smash), and Dinner, which we were lucky enough to be able to have outside in the garden. My only suggestion would be to make the offering easier to understand on the website. There are several different buildings/rooms to choose from, mostly called Florence something or other, and it took a long phone call with the excellent Ellie, to work out what was best for me. Without her friendly and knowledgable help I couldn’t have done that. The irony is that after I’d booked I received an email giving me lots of useful information, including a site map, that would have been very useful when booking.

Arrived at this lovely venue to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary only to find that the 3rd party booking company that we used & paid had not advised us that the Hotel was fully booked. Fortunately the Staff at the resort on reception Adam & his female colleague sorry I did not take her name bent over backwards to try & find a room which they eventually managed with a lot of effort. The hotel was exceptionally busy due to a Wedding & a private party staying over. I was very stressed & upset as this was a special day for us but they made every effort with calmness & professionalism to resolve this problem that was NOT down to the hotel. Room & stay was great. I highly recommend this hotel & the staff not only on reception but throughout the whole hotel during our stay.

I read a few negative reviews before arriving here and I was a bit worried about how my stay would go. I have to say all of theses reviews were proved wrong. We had a really good stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and the reception staff especially were constantly working on reception, in the bar and helping clear after meals and breakfast. Our room was very clean and convenient. The only issue is the separate charge for parking. Having to pay on a machine at a hotel is unusual and unnecessary.
