Marco Polo Hongkong Hotel

Great location, very convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was warm and attentive. Its proximity to transport links makes it easy to travel, and the soundproofing is good. All the toiletries you need are provided. Overall, a comfortable stay and excellent value for money.

This is a standard five-star hotel. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. The only downside is that after so many years, the carpet still has a slight odor when you enter the room. We stayed in a family room with three people, and overall it was decent. The location is excellent, but the room rate is still a bit expensive!

Due to a flight delay, I didn't arrive at the hotel until past 1 AM. I was completely unsatisfied with the room the front desk assigned me. First, it was a 'tail-end' room (at the very end of the hall), and the natural light was terrible. The window overlooked a construction hoarding. This must be the worst room type imaginable. After staying for 3 days, I didn't even bother asking to switch. Seriously bad, one-star review, one-star review, one-star review.

The hotel's location is super convenient, right next to Harbour City and the Star Ferry, which can take you to Hong Kong Island. However, the interior decor is very dated. The entire hallway has a musty smell, and the room's carpet wasn't very clean either.

My room was unfortunately located right by the staff elevator, and every time it opened or closed, it made a loud noise. I'm a light sleeper, especially in unfamiliar places, and I specifically requested a room away from the elevators when I booked. Unfortunately, my request wasn't honored.

Upgraded to a sea-view room, and the view was fantastic. My only minor regret was that the night lights weren't as dazzling as I've seen in Hong Kong before. The hotel is a bit old, but well-maintained, and the breakfast was plentiful.

[China Mobile] Greater Bay Area Hong Kong & Macau Data Pack - 1 day 2GB: I wasn't going to get the data pack but they gave it to me anyway! The room was very clean after the renovation. Shopping was incredibly convenient, and there were lots of food options. They even gave us a birthday cake when they found out it was my child's birthday. Luggage storage was also very convenient.
