Absolutely stunning location right on the loch side. Short walk to view Jacobite crossing over viaduct. Rooms immaculate and the best breakfast we had all trip. There were few ******* re Dinner service but these were all dealt with. Would defo recommend….

Having just re-opened, there were a few minor teething problems when we stayed in late May which I'm sure will now be ironed out. This hotel has one of the finest locations in the Highlands , good food and super friendly staff. Totally recommended.

What a wonderful spot with wonderful staff and the comfiest pillows. Johnny the manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect...even dried off our boots from walking in the hills so that we were all set for our next hiking trip. This hotel is true highland hospitality. Every member of staff greeted us like old friends and wanted to hear about our day. The hotel has been newly decorated and has been tastefully done. We cant wait to go back to see Johnny and all our new friends we made.

No hot water on our night of arrival....I know things happen and it was warm by the morning, but still, a cold shower after a day of walking was not pleasant. Tables in the restaurant so close together that 3 separate couples share a bench seat, meaning private conversation impossible, so we ate in the bar. Ordered 2 glasses of house wine....that was off, presumably opened some time ago, apologetic staff did change our drinks. Ordered 2 main courses and received a main and a starter size salad. ....needless to say, we ate elsewhere on our second night. Also not impressed with single use plastic bottles in the bathrooms, every other hotel I've stayed in in the last few years has used environmentally friendly, larger, refillable bottles. Yes, it's in a beautiful location and nicely decorated but I will not be returning and definitely not worth the money...everywhere else we stayed on our tour was more welcoming with delicious food.

This much loved country house hotel has recently re - opened under new management after being closed for renovation. As a returning guest I visited for lunch on 27th May. The manager and staff were welcoming. friendly and couldn't do enough for us. He kindly allowed me to have a look around the house which I greatly appreciated. It's lovely and the historic atmosphere remains - building dates back to 1752. The food is excellent as well. I will be back later this week and hope to resume staying there in the very near future.

I have been a fan of Glenfinnan House Hotel for decades. Two nights ago, I revisited it for the first time since it was taken over by the Inverlochy Castle Hotel group. What a delight. This wonderful Highland lodge has been beautifully and sympathetically restored, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was first class. I did not have time to walk around the stunning grounds on the shore of Loch Sheil, but I'll do that the next time I visit - which will be soon. This hotel and restaurant is a "must" for anyone visiting Lochaber, or, indeed, the Highlands.

Short tour of Scotland brought us to this recently renovated hotel situated on the banks of Loch Shiel. Famously near to the Harry Potter viaduct at Glenfinnan. Wonderful location for hiking, but very much enjoyed the hospitality & cuisine at the hotel. Beautifully renovated & comfortable rooms with great food & drinks. Fabulous service too. Will definitely be returning 👍

We were looking for an experience like no other in Scotland and certainly Glenfinnan House Hotel provided in every way! The place and location were absolutely beautiful and our room could not have been better with exquisite views of the loch and even a glimpse of Ben Nevis as the weather was outstanding! The dinner was truly one of the best I have ever had...I had the monkfish tagine...incredibly prepared and such a rich taste -- absolute yum! The breakfast was some of the best in Scotland -- and such a gorgeous location with good walks and views of the viaduct! Beautiful in every way:)

The warmest of welcome awaits at Glenfinnan House Hotel. We stayed at the hotel to celebrate our 10th anniversary, an annual stay as we were married there. GHH has a very homely feel with a very warm atmosphere. It is a haven of tranquility due to the decor of the hotel, the attentiveness but inobtrusive staff (who are extremely well trained), location with the spacious lawn rolling down to the shore of Loch Shiel with tremendous view of The Glenfinnan Monument, surrounded by rolling hills and a view of Ben Nevis. Duncan makes the most delicious meals very well presented. The specials board is mouthwatering. Deserts are to die for. The rooms themselves are very spacious. Room 6 has a very comfortable 4 poster bed, a very comfortable large bathroom with spa bath and beautiful view of the loch and Monument. Manja, Duncan and Fiona add so much value to the hotel with their warm, friendly caring disposition which makes you feel a part of the GHH family. We keep coming back to the hotel because of this. Can't wait until we come back in October.
