This is one of the best stays of our two week trip through Scotland. We stopped off here overnight on our way up to Inverness. The staff were very attentive and helpful, the food was delicious & Fresh, the rooms were well equipped and comfortable. We hope to return!

Deciding last minute to head over for a Sunday roast, following being out on the hills and getting rained on, we headed over to the Bein Inn. Having been before we knew what we were in for, so we felt comfortable with knowing roughly wt to expect. I phoned prior to my arrival, asking if they were able to fit us in and obviously giving the amount of people attending. Given that it was initially three adults, eventually reducing to 2 adults, and one child under one there wasnt a problem with seating us. It was shortly after midday that we arrived and having already spoken to the individual we met on arrival, we were seated nice and quickly. In the restaurant itself, there was only one other table on our arrival, this eventually turned to three later on (excluding our table). We were met with professional and warmth on arrival, this continued throughout our time at the restaurant. Sadly, the kitchen staff let down the warm hospitality by getting the roast ordered by my wife incorrect, we had asked for turkey and in fact received roast ham. I asked the young server who brought the food out, once it had been placed down, what he had presented us with but received a very vacant look and unsure reply. Everything needed for our young son was done quickly and without question, such as a cup of warm water and a bowl for his food to go into. The only reason for giving this an 'average' review is purely because of the standard of the food, adding to the incorrect order. Due to the host and the welcoming, we did not make a fuss, but everything done on arrival unravelled the longer we were seated. Its the third or four time we have been to the Beinn Inn, which seems to have changed hands in that time, with the front of house seemingly being let down by the supporting elements.

I live local to the Beinn Inn, so have always tried to support it, but the food has always been pretty poor. I try it again when I hear it's under new management, but so far, it's been average and I know I could do better at home. Recently, as it's under relatively new management I tried it again with my son, having fish and chips and it was really great. As a result, I thought I'd go in again last night and it was normal service resumed. Maybe it was a different chef on(not that, that should matter). My daughter's burger was over cooked, my fish was alright, but the chips were very over fried and my wife's Thai fish curry tasted like it was out of a tin. Is it too much to ask for decent pub grub. The guy serving was very nice and helpful. What a shame they can't get it together in the food department, especially as it wasn't even busy, as we'd go in far more often!

Popped in for a late lunch today and received a very warm welcome from Martin. Could not have been made to feel more at home. Excellent service and Martin is an asset to the hotel for sure. Food was absolutely delicious - very well cooked and presented. Those chips were superb! We would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.

Superb food and service - they literally couldn’t do more for us. Kai, the manager is brilliant at his job and we will definitely return when they have completed their current refurb. If you are going in the next few months manage your expectations it needs work!

We stayed here for two nights, enjoying dinner, bed, and breakfast, and were amazed at the quality of the food and service. The staff at the Bein Inn couldn't do enough for us. My wife is gluten-free, and when we told the gentleman serving us, he went out of his way to ensure she had a good meal by offering her gluten-free battered haddock as an alternative. The hotel appears to be undergoing some changes/upgrades which will only add to the overall experience. Great hotel, great service, and great food. We'll definitely be back!

We booked to stay for 3 nights. Dinner on one night and breakfast each morning. The welcome we received upon our arrival from the hotel manager was exceptional. We parkes up to walk nearby, and he couldn't have been nicer explaining where to start. Check-in time, and we were shown to our room (18). The room was basic but well equipped and clean. The satellite signal was down, so there was NO WORKING TV. We were communicated about this from Gary, the owner. The TOP MARKS for this establishment goes to the KITCHEN STAFF. We were served some of the best food we have had the pleasure to have eaten. U can tell they use TOP CLASS PRODUCE. It was served with the waitress wearing white gloves(lovely touch). We will return to see how this place is coming along(under new management). We will return with family and friends to allow them to sample such fresh tasty produce.

Phoned up on the off chance we could get a table for 6 last minute on a Sunday. So glad it was available, as the food was great (all fresh and home made). At our table we had the roast ham, burgers, pie and curry - all were very tasty /of good quality. Puddings disappeared quick too. Staff were professional and friendly. A lovely family meal was had! The bar looks really cosy also. Will be going back soon!

After wanting to visit the Bein Inn for quite sometime we managed to recently and wish we hadn't due to the quality of the food. Service was good enough however I ordered Steak Pie which was supposed to be slow cooked beef. Beef was tough and chewy and appeared to be diced previously used beef with a bought in Puff Pastry top which was terrible . The fish was hugely overcooked with a dark batter but appeared to be a thick batter which was still raw underneath. The fish was certainly not fresh and at the very least had been frozen before cooked. The chips were again burnt and were far too big , bigger than wedges which was off putting. All In all disappointed as the Inn could be a wonderful establishment , hugely let down by food I'm afraid and will not be back.
