What a way to spend our last night in Sri Lanka, this is a jewel of a hotel, the same chain as the Camellia Hills hotel and it shows in the experience. the hotel is a beauty I wish we had spent more time here. The grounds are stunning with a lovely secluded pool the atmosphere is excellent as is the food and the service. There are several lovely spaces to sit and chill and the rooms are fantastic with exceptional bathrooms. We had to leave very early so they prepared a pack-lunch breakfast for us to take to the airport.

Beautiful place, great food and ideal location to get over the flight to Sri Lanka. Old colonial house with some original features. Our room was tastefully decorated and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A little oasis of peace!!!

Fantastic place to decompress. Very chill, great food, comfortable rooms, good value. Do not miss a yoga class with Eva - it was seriously one of the best I’ve ever gone to. She adjusts to your ability, with plenty of hands on instruction if you want it.

There is only one 5 star hotel near the airport and that is Wallawwa. The service was incredible, food excellent, rooms great. What more do you need. At the end of a long flight or for your last night near your flight, it is unbeatable, well done Teardrop Hotels.

We arrived at 2am after a long flight , what magic greeted us in the morning, lush gardens ,great food and attentive service ,a perfect place to unwind before exploring Sri Lanka. The Cocktails were excellent too. The rooms were very clean and comfortable .

My husband and I stayed at The Wallawwa on the first night of our trip to Sri Lanka. Beautiful little boutique hotel located close to the airport making it the perfect place to relax following a long flight. We arrived in time for afternoon tea, cake and cookies followed by social hour where you can enjoy complimentary G&T’s, wine, beer etc. Our room was spacious and well equipped with a huge bathroom and outside seating area. Dinner was delicious as was breakfast the next morning. Staff were all really efficient and friendly. Would certainly recommend staying here, in fact one night probably isn’t enough!
