The location of the property is excellent for visiting the historic center of Gallipoli. Despite being in the center the room is very quiet. The staircase to access the structure is quite steep, therefore not very comfortable if you have a lot of luggage. Unfortunately, being in the historic center, it cannot be accessed by car as it is a pedestrian area. The closest parking is at the port where the cost is €1 an hour (but the payment tower does not accept debit cards/cards, only coins). In addition to the strategic position, however, everything else seems to be a little less scrupulous. It would have been useful to know in advance how to pay for the parking (we wasted an hour just making the payment). Room cleaning was hit and miss with details showing the lack of attention. The towel warmer was full of rust which then remained on the bidet wipes. The toilet seat and shower were showing signs of wear that would probably need some maintenance. An even worse note is the breakfast: while in the booking phase it was shown that breakfast was in the structure, it was actually served elsewhere. A very little varied breakfast, a very slow and sometimes annoyed service.
